Which park to visit each day in September?

Hey everyone! We haven’t been to Disney since 2013 so we feel like first timers again. We are also going with families that have never been. I’m a planner so trying to plan out my park days to get a rough idea. Our dates are September 27 through October 4th. We head home on the 4th.

Assuming MNSSHP days are the same as last year, I’ve factored that in. We are wanting to do the party either on Tuesday or Friday. Which do you think is better?

This is our plan right now. So far, I have us going to the party on Friday night. If we do the party Tuesday night, we were planning on a rest day on Wednesday. We will not be going to a park on the day we do the party.

Saturday, September 27th - Arrival
Sunday, September 28th- AK
Monday, September 29th - MK
Tuesday, September 30th - Rest Day
Wednesday, October 1st- HS
Thursday, October 2nd- Epcot
Friday, October 3rd- MNSSHP
Saturday, October 4th - Head Home

Anything you would change? Would it be better to do certain parks on different days?

I might consider doing your full MK day possibly on a party day just for the lower crowds? Of course, you wouldn’t get the HEA fireworks that day but you might get more done and consider it worth it.

All parties will sell out, so there really is no reason to pick 1 night over the other. Hat time will you need to leave for the airport or get on the road? Will you be able to get into your room at 12:30- 1 am & be up & rest for your departure?

You're on the right track. #1 Decide on the things that are MUST DO's and go from there.

For me, I have to have the event calender to see when fireworks and parades are scheduled and work around that. I don't want a late Firework evening followed by a rope drop or early morning. If I travel during warmer months, I have to fit in a pool afternoon. A few times I've wanted to do a tour and that has been the #1 thing to schedule around! Fitting in a ADR (especially at a resort) can throw a wrench in everything!
Personally, I need a "plan" of some sort always. I can't go to WDW and just wing it.
