Which park on which day?

I need help decided on which park to attend. We (Husband, myself, daughter turning 3 a week after trip) will be at Disney in Oct on a Wed late night – Mon morning. We will have the park hopper, DDP, and tickets to MNSSHP. The current plans look like:

Thu –???/MNSSHP
Fri –???
Sat – Magic Kingdom
Sun – Hollywood Studios

I am thinking of going to Epcot on Thursday, having lunch, and going to the hotel to rest for 2-3 hours before entering the Halloween party. This will leave Friday for us to visit Animal Kingdom all day (or most of the day, rest, and downtown Disney).

Otherwise we can make a half day on Thursday of Animal Kingdom and visit Epcot on Friday. Epcot will have the Food and Wine Festival going on and I am not sure if the crowd will be unbearable.

Thoughts please? This will be our first trip to WDW.

Have a look at the crowd calendar for October at easywdw.com. See which parks he recommends each day, then read his detailed explanation for each of those days. This will give you a good idea of the pros and cons for selecting a particular park on any given day.

I would do AK on Thursday and EPCOT on Friday. Or you can do Hollywood Studios on Thursday and move AK to Sunday if you feel u need a whole day at AK. Not a lot of rides for your child at HS and depending on if u plan on doing ToT and RnRC, u can easily make HS a half day

Thanks so much. Now I am questioning the entire plan and see if we should take Sunday to rent a vehicle and go to Universal Studios for the last day.

Saturday + MK = Crowded, but doable.

Take a look at the crowd calendar on easywdw. If there is another MNSSHP on Friday night it might make sense to do MK again during the day and hop to HS in the afternoon when party crowds start.
