Which Park is closest to DownTown Disney?

The first day we arrive my son wants to go to DD. Since my mom would not take him there the last time he was there. So I thought we could go there and then off to a Park.

Epcot and MGM are about the same distance but I think bus wise MGM might be the quicker to get to.
