Which park is best for a rainy day?

One place we always got stuck in the rain was AK and it was horrible!

I just looked at the weather forecast as we're going Friday. Don't think too much about rain, just to see the temp ranges. Looks like it will be in the 70's

I'm looking at our 10 day forecast for next week and I see one of our days, Monday, there is a 50% chance for rain. My question is, which park should we go to on the rainy day? Does it matter? We are only going to MK, Epcot, and HS. I know we are going to enjoy MK the most. MK is most recommended for that day, but I am considering swapping this out because we want to go on a non party day so we can stay until close and see wishes.

Any input would be appreciated.

Oh, and fastpasses aren't an issue to consider. Haven't booked them yet (I know, GASP). Going to pick up tickets today at the ITR office today.

We're also going next week so I've been stalking the forecast as well. As of this morning, Monday's forecast has changed so we may be in luck if it holds up!

But in the past, we've done MK, DHS and Epcot in the rain. Of the three, we found DHS to be the best to navigate in the rain. It's a small park with not a ton to look at outside of the attractions, so we mostly were able to dart from one attraction to the next pretty quickly. Most (all?) of the attractions and queues are indoors as well.

We went last January where it rained three days straight (and was cold too!). On the plus side crowds were super low. However best idea I ever did was bring rain pants and a poncho. Rain pants were fantastic for all the seats that were wet - we rode all the rides - and didn't get soaked! Not ideal but was definitely able to make the best out of the crappy weather. We're going in a few weeks and keeping fingers crossed that this time we don't get too much rain.

Same here. It was cold and rainy. If you didn't wear any kind of glasses, the cold rain would sting your eyes on EE. It's a whole different ride with your eyes shut. ;)

Yeah, I expect the forecast to change no fewer than six times between today and next Monday.

Of all our trips, our rainy AK was one of the best. We were literally the only people on one of the paths! The safari was unbelievable. The animals were playing and frolicking-absolutely breathtaking to watch. Giraffes running, elephants spraying water-soooo memorable! We ducked into Bug's Life and some stores to dry a little and reset. We also had a great time in the MK-same reason of lower crowds-and EPCOT too!

At DHS we got absolutely soaked in the SoA, but heck, we now have new muppet t shirts!

All in all-amazing memories for their own reasons! Pack accordingly, know your schedule might change a bit and have a blast!

That safari sounds amazing! I'll pack accordingly (I have 3 ponchos ready to go) and will have a blast regardless! Thanks! :thumbsup2
