My wife and I are taking our kiddos to Disney the first week of March for our daughters 5th birthday. We have 3 days at Disney to work with (possibly 4). We were planning on going to MK 2 days and another park for a day. That's where I keep scratching my head. I'm not sure whether or not to go to Hollywood Studios or AK. We were at animal kingdom in 2011 when they were 6 months a 2 years old. After about 4-5 hours, we found there wasn't much more for us to do. However, I know they're older now and may enjoy it more, but there still seems like a lot to do at hollywood studios. Thoughts?

I think this really depends on what type of rides/experience you are looking for. For example I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and we will only be going to DHS in the morning for TSM and TOT and then leaving as we felt this park offered us the least in terms of entertainment. We were there in December and to I was really disappointed in the DHS offerings.

As far as AK goes, we only spent half a day there last year (we had MVMCP that night) and felt like we missed a large number of things by leaving so early.

Have you thought about Epcot? We spent our first evening there and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

If the kids are fans of Disney Jr., then definitely DHS. You can begin the day at Hollywood and Vine Play and Dine to meet Doc McStuffins, Sofia, Jake and Handy Manny. There are lots of meet and greets they would enjoy and a Disney Jr. Show as well as Beauty and the Beast stage show.

If you are staying onsite and are there for EMH at DHS, there is a Disney Jr. Dance Party. Character Palooza takes place daily on the Streets of America if they would like to meet a variety of characters

If you choose EC I would recommend going to Crush Turtle talk with the kiddos. That is a really cool interactive experience.

You know your family and their tastes, but I like DHS 2nd to MK. You have Disney Jr, the Little Mermaid show, I think they would be ok with the Great Movie Ride. You have the Beauty and the Beast show, Indiana Jones show (although sometimes little ones get scared sometimes). You have One Man's Dream and Art of Animation Studio. I really like the atmosphere of DHS.

For Epcot, you have Nemo, Living with the Land, Figment, the countries it's beautiful, turtle talk with crush.

AK, you have Nemo, Flights of Wonder, the safari, the Dinosaur Dig, the animal trails, etc.

Whatever you choose, your children will love it but I would say DHS

I would say AK and HS are a toss up for those ages. I don't see either of those parks as entire day parks.

I also have a 2 and 5 year old. We frequently skip animal kingdom. We have 5 days next week and are planning on skipping it. The only thing my girls like there are the triceratops ride and the Dino dig. Although my oldest can now ride Kali, and she loves it! We did it 3-4 times in September. There's just not enough for the 2 year old. I wish they liked shows, but weren't into Nemo, Bug's Life or Lion King.

We never skip MGM though. It's usually only a half day park. But we can't miss the Disney junior show and toy story mania. My oldest can also ride star tours and tower of terror (not brave enough for that yet). But they both enjoy the shows there. Plus in the morning there are a bunch of characters out. At 4/4:30 they have characterpalooza in the animation building where you can meet rare characters. We've met the penguins from Mary Poppins, the Snow Queen, Hook (plus more of the standard characters).

A couple of questions:

-What days will be at Disney?
-Are they all full-day availability?
-Where are you staying?
