I may have a chance to visit one outlet while in Orlando. Which one has the best stuff?

(Oh, My Gosh! I am in single digits!!!!!!!):)

I am confused...do you mean outlet mall or disney outlet store? Either way, I would suggest that you go to the Premiere Outlet since it is very close to Disney. The mall has a Disney outlet and a Universal outlet right across from the Disney one. Also has a wide range of very trendy pricy outlets to the ones you see at most outlet malls.

I liked this one, prices were lower. We got trading pins for $1.99.

Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores
State Road 535
Near Walt Disney World Resort
Character Corner
LVFS is located just minutes from Walt Disney World. The savings are up to 75 percent.

This is the next cheapest disney outlet. Trading pins were $3.99.

Belz Factory Outlet World
5401 West Oakridge Road
(I-4 Exit 30A)
Phone: 407-352-9611
Located at the extreme North end of the world famous International Drive, nearby Universal Studios Orlando. Belz is generally open 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sundays. The Character Warehouse in Mall#2 with Disney merchandise. Also a Universal outlet store.

Posters have reported that the mark downs are not as good here.

Orlando Premium Outlets
Vineland Ave.
Off I-4 near DownTown Disney
Phone: 407-238-7787

Near Lake Buena Vista and Downtown Disney, Orlando Premium Outlets. Open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9p.m.

This is the link.

Thanks a bunch!

My DH does not want to leave WDW property while we are there, but I have managed to talk him into going to the Orlando Science Center for an afternoon. One side trip to a Disney Outlet won't kill him!

The downside of the Character Corner in the LBV Factory outlet is that there is a lot of non-disney merchandise there. They take up a lot of floor space with that so there is not as much Disney stuff to choose from.

I haven't really noticed a big difference in price from the one at Belz to the one at Premiere. But then again, I haven't been since about a month before Christmas.

We had a lot of fun "looking" at the Premium Outlets. We didn't buy much. Really cool, upscale stores. Went into Donna Karan and looked at a straight black skirt. $375 outlet--$600 retail. Not bad if you normally pay $600-- which I would never. My husband about fainted!! Wilson's Leather outlet has some pretty good deals though. Almost bought a mid-thigh length black leather coat for $99. Retailed for around $400.

Fun to look though!! We like the Belz too but it is HUGE!!

The Disney outlets sometimes have the EXACT same merchandise as the parks and DTD. My DH wanted a ESPN Baseball Tonight jersey that was like $50 in Team Mickey at DTD. I said, "No way!". We went to the Disney place in Belz the next day-- the exact same! EXACT SAME jersey was $12.99. Needless to say, he got that one!:)

Orlando has the BEST shopping!!

Only one outlet? Oh my you poor thing. We visit each of the Disney outlets at least once each trip. I have found amazing bargains. Some times each store has slightly different merchandise. We try to shop the outlets first because on several occasions we found overstaock items that were still being sold on at WDW discounted at the outlets.
Go to www.outletbound.com. This is a wonderful outlet site. They also have an outlet guide book that comes out annually. You can search the site by state, store etc. You can also print out vouchers to get a coupon book at participating outlet centers or sign up for special event notices from outlet centers and storesIf you can only visit one otlet center, try the Belz mall (closer ot downtown Orlando). It has 2 Disney outlet stores. One in Mall 2 and a second in Mall 1. (The mall 1 & 2 etc. designations are for their different buildings, just a short walk apart.)
Enjoy your bargains!

Thanks so much for this info.

I mentioned stopping at an outlet to DH and he was shocked! Like he had never heard of such a thing before! He said, "WHat do you mean stop an outlet? You want to go off-site?"

He is so funny! I gently reminded him that we had agreed to go to the Orlando Science Center and that there was an exhibit there that he wanted to see and that the outlet was on the way....
