Which order should I make my ADRs?

We make our ADRs Sunday for our November 3-12 trip and I’m a bit nervous. We arrive late so no ADRs arrival day.

I’m trying to decide which order to make my ADRs. This is what I’m thinking:

Topolino’s 11/6 breakfast
MK Dessert party 11/5
Oga’s 11/5 in the evening
Sci Fi 11/10 lunch
Homecoming 11/7 lunch (or should we just do walk up?)
Cali Grill 11/11 dinner during MVMCP fireworks
SK71 11/4 lunch
San Angel Inn 11/5 lunch
Sanaa 11/8 lunch
GF Cafe 11/12 brunch

Any suggestions?

Also do you recommend the app, the internet on my phone or a laptop to make these?

The only one on there that screams DO IT FIRST to me is Topolino. The others shouldn't be too hard as long as you're a little flexible on times.

We were there this past spring with a party of 11, and we made reservations for several on your list without any problem - San Angel, Sanaa, Cali Grill, even Oga's was easy as was Homecomin' for Mother's Day brunch, which I expected to be tough. We were slow, because we had to break the group into two and coordinate two reservations for each meal, and we still didn't run into any major issues. Topolino was the hardest get, and we missed out on it at first because we went for other in-demand reservations first. I was ultimately able to snag that too, though, through a reservation finder service.

Personally I would use the app, but have the page open on a laptop just in case.

Not sure how far out you are for Topolino's, but you might want to consider the possibility of having a second date in mind if it's at 60+3 or close to that. Should be fine but if there's nothing available it might be a good to have a back up plan.

The rest should be okay. SciFi can be tough as well but I'm assuming you're at least
60+6 days out since its Nov 10 and your trip seems to start Nov 4?

If we don't get it that day we will most likely just skip it, plan another breakfast ADR (DD mentioned Ohana) or do a reservation finder with TP. We could put it in before our full Epcot day which is 60+6 but we planned on arriving around noon and doing F&W all day. I don't want to have a big breakfast before that. I like our park plans and don't want to rearrange everything for an ADR.

Sci Fi is 60+7 so hoping that works out.

Oh thank you!! Yes Topolino's will be first and I will be on at 5:30ish checking if it goes live early and to just be on point for 6 am. If we can't get Topolino at 60+3 I will try a reservation finder. It's just a party of 2 so I hope it's not as difficult. I will probably book another character breakfast that day. Probably Ohana.

That makes sense. I'm like that as well, I would usually rather cancel the ADR than change park plans.

It's quite possible something will be available anyway when you check. If there isn't, there will likely be opportunity with reservation finder as you mentioned.

We had to reschedule our last trip on short notice, and I found I could have gotten most of what I wanted if I just walked up to the restaurant day of anyway. We were at Epcot one day and after realizing how slim the options were for breakfast we considered going to Topolino's. I checked the app and there was a reservation available about 30 minutes later than the time I checked.

If you plan to input all of them within say 30 minutes of each other, I don't think it matters. Either the places you want will have availability of they won't.

Topolino’s first for sure. I think it’s early in your trip though and it may not be available. Is there anyway you could move it to later on in the week?

I couldn’t get Topolino’s I refreshed at 5:59 am and no tables at all that entire morning. I even changed party size and times. Nothing. I did sign up for a reservation finder.

Cali Grill also had nothing 11/11 but they have nothing past the 60 day mark. I read previous posts that they may be releasing only 60 days out so I’ll keep checking.

mouse watchers is the BEST for finding reservations. I learned that a lot of people make reservations and cancel that day, so it's worth checking even the night before. Also Im not sure, but I assume they take walks ins as well. Most restaurants leave a few tables open for this reason. Were in the food biz lol Anyways good luck! I will try them out too.

After thinking about it I switched out Topolino’s and GFC breakfasts. So now we have Topolino’s on check out day which works out well since DHS is our park that day and we can just jump on the skyliner after. I will still try to get it on 11/6 since I would prefer it earlier but at least we have an ADR. DD is happy with it on either day.
