We are two ladies and one 12 yr old girl staying Oct next yr..We are thinking Grand Floridian vPoly v WL.Contempary dosnt appeal.Please could i have yr views thanks..

Grand Floridian is gorgeous! Just the feel of the grounds is magical! Wilderness Lodge is nice too but then u don't have access to the monorail and if it was between the monorail resorts vs non monorail resorts (for me anyways) the monorail resort would win hands down. I've never stayed poly but we visit there frequently to eat Bc we love the food places there. We are hoping to stay at the poly in 2017 Bc we have stayed grand Floridian and contemporary so we want to stay poly now. Anyways I think u should narrow your choice down to either the Floridian or the poly and honestly I don't think u can go wrong with either so then I would go with (a) which ever theme looks better to u or (b) which ever has the better deal lol...good luck in your decision!

For a girls only trip - Grand Floridian! It's the ultimate Disney girl resort IMHO. Beautiful Victorian style, tons of wonderful restaurants (try the afternoon tea!), great pools and right next door to MK. We treated my sister to a stay at GF last year and it was definitely a "ladies" trip! Princess meals, afternoon tea, etc.

WL's rooms are quite small and don't have the transportation advantage of GF. I really like Poly, the theming is wonderful, but GF does offer much more in terms of amenities (more restaurants, every room gets turn-down service, etc.)

GF all the way! Beautiful and relaxing. You'll love it. If you were traveling with a young boy I might suggest Poly or WL because he could potentially like the theme of those better but I think a young girl may enjoy the elegance

I would vote either GF first choice or Poly 2nd choice. Either one is in a great location and both have nice pools, good shopping, and a lovely atmosphere. My daughter is 13 and loves both resorts!

You're transported to another world, a total counterpoint to the frenetic craziness of the parks.

I love the theming of the Poly and the WL and loved our stays at both resorts - but the CMs were friendlier at the WL - we also were at the Poly during construction and it was chaotic getting around the resort especially that we had older family members with us. When we stayed at the GF we were at an outer building and didn't care for it. The CMs were the least friendliest there. I would pick Poly over the WL because of the monorail then GF in that order but if I were to do the GF next time it would be in the main building. You will enjoy your stay at any of these hotels.

Another vote for the GF. It really is a nice place for an all girls trip. normally, I would choose the Poly as first choice, but at the GF you have an elegant Victorian atmosphere, a spa, afternoon tea and great shampoo! (LOVE H2O sea marine!) The sea salt body wash is really nice too!

Second choice (which is often first choice) would be the Poly. It is just so romantic and beautiful! Truly a special experience as well.

In either the GF or the Poly I would choose CL if in the budget, for ultimate pampering RPC at the GF.

You're definitely in a win win situation. Lol. We have stayed at both the Poly and WL and love both! If I had to choose one of them I would choose the Poly because we love the tropical atmosphere and also love the dining choices there. Even if it's just getting a lapu lapu or some sushi, we visit the Poly every trip for food. The monorail is also great to have, not only for MK and Epcot but also for visiting the other MK area resorts.
We also love the WL. The boat transportation is great. Pretty quick and convenient and not too crowded. The atmosphere there is also fabulous but completely different from the Poly. The lobby area is such a cool place to hang out.
We have often visited but have not stayed at GF and it's just gorgeous.
I guess just choose the theme that most appeals to you and your party and go for it! Have a wonderful trip!
