Which one would you pick?

My husband and I need to decide which one of the following options we should choose...

BBB for 3 yo DD

OR

MNSSHP

We can't really afford to do both. So if you could only do one, which one would you pick and why?

I would pick MNSSHP. You can buy the items used for the BBB and dress up your little girl. Granted it won't be "the experience" but I feel you get more bang for your buck with MNSSHP.

Another vote for MNSSHP. Fun for everyone! Schedule the BBB when she is a little older and gets it that much more. (we took our 3 year old and it seemed like it was more for me and the pictures than a true magical experience for her)

Absolutely MHSSHP. It's a blast and the whole family can enjoy it. Your dd won't miss the BBB at that age.

Definitely do the MNSSHP!!! Take a princess dress and get her hair done at the little barbershop in the Magic Kingdom for less than $20. Then get hours of fun for all of you at the party!

You can buy gel that is sparkly or the hair spray, and put your daughters hair up in a bun to create the BBB yourself, and pre-purchase, or buy at disney a princess dress. Or she could be somthing different.

MNSSHP would be more fun.

Halloween Party all the way. honestly, I think the BBB is a waste of money. All the little girls look the same, and look like they have had a bad facelift with as tight as their hair is pulled back. Glad I have a son! Have fun with whatever you decide!

Without a doubt I would choose MNSSHP. We've done the Christmas party and it was wonderful. Those memories will last a lot longer than the stuff you might buy at BBB.

Another vote for MNSSHP. We have been to the Halloween party twice now, and it is so much fun for the whole family. You can't go wrong with that one. We have done BBB too, and I agree with the others. At 3 years old, your DD won't miss it, especially if you can fit a princess dress and tiara in the budget. Really, that gets them just as much attention in the parks as being made-over by the Fairy Godmothers in Training.

Here's another vote for MNSSHP. We've done both and while my niece loved BBB, MNSSHP is something the whole family can enjoy together.

I agree- MNSSHP for sure. Take her to the BBB when she is a bit older. We took our DD's own dress from home and had her hair done at the Main St Barber shop for maybe $10. Also bought her a littlel princess crown (like the ones they use at BBB- $10) from The World of Disney. The barber shop lady fixed it in her hair. Much cheaper than BBB!!

I think it all depends on your daughter. Is she the type of kid that stays up late or is she in bed early (8ish or so)? Our kids were 3, 2 and 1 when we went to the MNSSHP and it wasn't worth it to us. They took a nap during the day (as usual) but were still exhausted from the heat and humidity of FL in Oct. and we left the party after the parade (before the fireworks). They trick-or-treated a little before the parade but really needed to get back to the room to sleep after the parade (they were cranky!).

I think we will definitely go with MNSSHP. I can definitely dress up DD and make her feel special with some hair gel, nail polish, dress, and even put on a little lip gloss on her. You guys are right - she won't even know the difference. And we can save the BBB until she is a bit older.

Oh, one quick question, how does the barbershop work? Do they do the same hairstyle (bun with the crown) or is it slightly different? Do we need reservations?

When we did the barber shop it was walk-in. They pull the girls hair back into a bun, but not as tight as BBB and then put color streaks and confetti in it. Really cute. My girls loved it!, but they were a little older at the time, 5th birthday and 6.
