Nicki,
I am an avid follower of your dining reports and there is one thing of which I am sure...I am FLOORED that you and Todd haven't been to either of these restaurants!!!????
Well, that definitely needs correcting! Are you sure you can't fit both? Maybe lunch at Sanaa and dinner at AP?
The atmosphere at Sanaa is beautiful and exotic. We found a few of the food items very very good (especially the tandoori lamb and the red and green curry stews). Most dishes were on par or not quite as good as our favorite Indian restaurant at home (nothing outstanding food-wise), but the ambiance made it just a little more special. Our experience at AP was phenomenal!!! The buffalo steak, filet mignon and scallops were amongst the best ever, though the salmon on that particular night was a little disappointing (to be fair, it was prepared with apples that night, and I don't really care for apples. I just ordered it on its reputation, which was a mistake).
I originally wasn't going to vote because I strongly believe you have to try both, but now that I have put my thoughts into words I am going back to vote for AP. I think you and Todd will love it. I am a red meat fanatic in WDW for some reason, too, and I think the buffalo is not-to-be-missed for a meat lover. If you visit AP on a non-red meat night, try the scallops. They were without a doubt the best scallops I've ever tasted, better than FF and better than our favorite places at home.
