We will have to pay OOP for one table service meal during our trip - which would you dining pros recommend? (read: which is least expensive!) We will have 2 adult meals and 3 kids meals.

Akershus Breakfast
Garden Grill dinner
Hollywood and Vine dinner
Chef Mickey
Beaches and Cream
Whispering Canyon

Is your 1st ADR Akershus in Norway? If so, I would guess Beaches and Cream, since the rest are mostly buffet/family style with set price. You can check allears.net for menus and prices.

Ha! Yes, autocorrect did something funky!

Check the menus on allears, but off the top of my head Beaches and Cream, especially for adults. (Not sure if that is Akershus breakfast, if so, that is high dollar/value.)
WCC has cheaper kids meals, too. Kids credits are always a "bigger value" at buffets.
You may find at non-buffets you may want to share, and "save" a credit or two.
You don't say B-L-D at Chef Mickey's. After years of going to CM, and a less-than-stellar breakfast in December (and we have low expectations) it is off our list. We had MUCH better meals and service at Park Fare. Never had a bad meal at Crystal Palace.
For what is worth, we also had a TERRIFIC meal on Christmas Day at H&V. I was worried--we had never been there due to many horror stories. It was $50ish for adults, so certainly worth a credit!

We ended our last trip and hit Beaches & Cream before taking the DME back to the airport. We paid OOP b/c we were out of dining points.
2 adults and 2 kids cost us around $70 for food, drinks, and a sundae that we shared, with tip included.
Glad we didn't save our points to use here!

Sounds like this one will be the OOP winner! Thanks, everyone!

I would guess Beaches and Cream, but try plugging them into www.distripplanner.com and see if it helps.
Wow. I never knew about that website! Thanks so much. We did our additions and comparisons the old school way. It still proves that out of pocket is the way for us to go, this time. The dining plans have been a better value for us in the past. I appreciate you sharing that link.

Why have I been creating complicated spreadsheets to determine which restaurants we should pay OOP vs DDP every year. This will save me so much time. BTW - it's accurate. It told me the ones to pay OOP that I had figured based on what we would most likely order off each menu

We usually pay OOP for breakfast because they tend to be the cheapest.
