I want to take my family DH,DS,DD, to Cinderella's to eat. Not interested in the breakfast. Is the food good? I've looked at the menu and see they have prime rib. Has anyone had it? How is the childrens menu? Price doesn't matter. I just want them to enjoy it as much as I did when I was a kid.

Our family has had lunch there twice. We loved it! Each time we were there, Cinderella was in the lobby taking pictures with everyone. Then we went upstairs to eat. You feel so "cool" eating in the castle. My DS (7) just couldn't believe he was eating at Cinderella's Castle. The stained glass windows, pretty china, and the atmosphere in general is great. Also, we try to eat at the latest lunch seating as possible. Then we usually have a lighter dinner somewhere in the park.

My family really loves eating in the castle. I would stay this is probably the best dinner in the MK. We have never had lunch, but the dinner was always perfect. There was never slow service or bad food. The food has been fantastic. My 5yo niece thought there was nothing cooler then eating in the castle.

The waitors are very attentive and alert at all times. I have always had the Prime Rib and it was very juicy and tender. The childrens menu has your typical burger and chicken strips.

It don't matter if you go for lunch or dinner you will enjoy the food. On our next trip I think we may go during lunch because the prices are cheaper for about the same selections.

Well, I hate to say it, but I was very disappointed with our dinner there. I had the prime rib, which is my favorite food of all, and I was not at all impressed. It was very bland. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fair, but not at all what I would expect from the castle. We went last year on Mother's Day and I had really built it up in my mind, but it just did not live up to my expectations. Sorry if this sounds negative, but I would rather you go in with lesser expectations, and hopefully you will have a better experience and be pleasantly surprised. Good Luck:)

We ate at Cindy's this summer for dinner and loved it. We booked our ressies to coincide with the fireworks so we could see the show from the inside. It was beautiful through the stainglass windows. I had the queen cut prime rib and DH had the King cut prime. Both were fantastic! The kids ordered the typical kids stuff. They also loved eating in the castle. Beware though, dinner there can be a bit pricey!

We love having lunch there. The children's menu has a burger on it and a couple other things. No fries though...mashed potatoes and corn instead which I think is a great break from fries!

I havent worked there in a year so let's see if I can remember what the children's menu had. Kids size hamburger (2 of them), chicken strips, cheese dogs (little hot dogs wrapped in cheese and wrapped in a pastry type shell), not on the menu, but there is a childs cut of prime rib (it was $ 10 last yr). also i believe they could have pasta as well. and of course every restaurant can serve PB&J! Of course, like previously posted, there are no french fries, only mashed potatoes and corn. Make sure to ask the server if there is anything else for children besides what is on the menu (the chicken, burgers and hot dogs are the only thingsa listed!)

We're curious about reviews as well. Have only eaten breakfast there and highly considering this for a special sit down dinner with my DH and our 2 DDs in May.

I've had lunch there several times and its has always been delicious and the wait staff are very attentive.

We've done both lunch and dinner at the castle on different trips. We love the atmosphere and the service is always great. We ordered the prime rib (we love prime rib) when we had dinner there and it was very good. Ordered it last summer for lunch and was disappointed. It tasted and looked like it had been leftover from the night before and just reheated in the microwave. I hope that wasn't the case but 2 of us ordered it and neither of us ate but a few bites. Everyone else enjoyed their lunch entrees though. It makes me wonder because I know some restaurants locally (and know someone who works as a chef) don't serve prime rib until after 5 p.m. because they cook it slowly all day. I may be way off base but I wonder if CRT does this too and serves the leftovers at lunch???

Ate Lunch 2001
Ate Dinner 2002

The atmosphere is awesome, the staff is awesome and friendly,
Snow White and Cinderella were awesome. Being in the castle is awesome.

The food was horrible. My Disney Family will not eat there in 2003. Maybe in another 10 to revisit the castles magic but we will not go there for good food.

We never miss lunch there - every trip - 3/4 times a year. Our family's favorite is Bruno's Chicken and it is only on the lunch menu. We always get a PS for the latest "lunch" they serve and make this our early dinner and then grab hotdogs or burgers for dinner later that night. Bruno's chicken is the best chicken I've ever had. Not to be missed!! We actually schedule our day around this lunch so we don't miss Bruno's chicken!

DH and I have done both lunch and dinner there, I much prefer lunch. The chicken caesar salad is an excellent choice for lunch. Never had prime rib for lunch there, but I did for dinner and it was just OK then.

We go for supper every trip. Next trip we are going to go for lunch one day though - but still go for supper on day also. The first trip I had the prime rib. It was good, but not the best. The next trip I tried the Kingdome Feast. Oh my gosh! I'll never order anything but that. It is wonderful. Actually, I'd love to have it right now and I'm not even hungry. My husband always gets the Grand Duke. He says that it is out of this world.

If you do decide to eat supper there try to get a PS time during the fireworks - if they are having them the night you are there. It is amazing to watch the fireworks while dining in the castle.

If I called to make PS for lunch, what time is recommended? And if I want to make them for dinner to try to coincide with the fireworks, again, what time? I can't find times for these meals. I am not interested in breakfast, as I have done that a few years ago and wasnt' that impressed with the food. Might I be disappointed with lunch or dinner?

Lunch, I believe, runs from 11:30-2:55, Dinner starts at 4 and ends sometimes around park closing, depending on the closing time. If you would like to see the fireworks from the Castle I would make a PS for 30-45 mins before the fireworks. You would want a window table, but they can't guarantee them, so you have to ask when you check in, and it could be a wait (depending on how the window seats were sat the turn before you, and how many people before you asked for a window seat). I like going for a late lunch, but I like doing that at all the restaurants. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the food, but I'm a little biased (I work there).

My husband and I had dinner at Cindy's in 12/02 with another couple. All four of us thought the food was excellent. The other couple had prime rib and my husband and I had NY strip steak. We were there when the fireworks were set off. It was great. The service was also excellent. Unlike many restaurants at WDW, we did not feel rushed. The waiter was attentive, filled water glasses without being asked, etc. but did not hurry you. I would highly recommend because of atmosphere, service and food. Have a great trip!

We chose to have lunch at Cindy's since the menu is the same for lunch and dinner, but the prices are lower at lunch.

My DH had the prime rib. He really liked it, and he's a pretty picky eater.

My kids are very picky also, but they ate pretty well, for them.

We had the first seating for lunch at 11:30. If you choose lunch, I would recommend getting the first seating. For a while it's just you and a few other families, and it feels like you have the castle to yourselves!

I've had both lunch & dinner at Cindy's and have been very pleased with both. I had lunch there on my last trip and had an 11:30am PS. This was nice, since the restaurant was not very crowded at that time. The food was excellent (had the prime rib) and so was the service. I had requested a window seat when I made my PS and received one, so it was nice to look out onto Fantasyland.

I wasn't enormously impressed with the food during my one meal there, but IMO the atmosphere is worth at least one visit. I would choose lunch over dinner, though, for two reasons:

1) Selections are mostly the same, and lunch is cheaper.
2) If you and/or your DH like a glass of wine with dinner, you're S.O.L. (as with all MK restaurants).
