Which one is closer to WDW? Vacation Village or Silver Lake Resort.

Anyone know which of these resort is closer to WDW maingate Vacation Village or Silver Lake Resort and how are the resort?

I going down on May 13-20, 2005. Thank you.

Silver Lake is very close to AK part of Disney - just go out the back entrance of SL - turn left - shortly there will be a traffic light - turn right - you are on WDW property - just turn off when you see the sign for the park that you want.

or Vacation Village International at Parkway?...I can never get the name straight...

Anyway like spicey siad, Silver Lake is RIGHT there by AK...Parkway is next to Arabian Nights Dinner Theatre...Marker 9 or so??

So to the Main Gate...hmm...still think I'd pick Silver Lake...you feel like you hit the "magic" quicker!!LOL

Thanks both for replying so quickly. I won this through Skyauction, 7 nights 1 bedroom suite for toatl of $212 included taxes and fees.

Another question, do they make you sit through some kind of sale presentation eventhought I won it through SA?

No - when I have won through skyauction I don't even get the phone calls asking you attend one.

they seem to know - since you know about skyauction you aren't interested in buying....
