Which offsite ECV's fit on Disney buses?

We're going to get mom an ECV from an offsite company in August. Since we are also traveling with DH's powerchair and cannot afford to rent a lift-equipped van, we are stuck with Disney transportation. Can anyone tell me which ECV's will load/unload on the buses without a major hassle?

The ECVs that operate with the least hassle are the 3-wheel type, which most of the off-site companies rent. The only problem you would have with getting an ECV on a bus is if you get a 4-wheel monster or if you take your own and attach a basket to the back of it...the deck of the bus lift or deck of the bus ramp, is not deep enough for an ECV plus rear basket (I found that out by experience) and not wide enough for a 4-wheeled monster. If you want to avoid hassles that occur because of lack of experience driving an ECV, you should practice at a Target or a market that has ECVs to loan to shoppers before going to WDW...Practice backing a lot!...

You should have no problem with the off-site rental ECVs. As she said, it's mostly the 4 wheeled variety and attachments that people have added to their own ECVs that cause a problem.
When you are making your reservation, just let them know you plan on taking it on the buses. They will make sure you get one that won't be too big.
