OK, got it down to 3 resorts... which would you choose and why? This is our 1st time staying onsite.

Grand Floridian
Beach Club
Boardwalk Inn.

Thanks!:sunny:

hi: i think it depends on who is going and their ages as well as which park(s) you'll be visiting the most. each resort has its advantages. when our kids were younger and before we became dvc members, we usually stayed at the mk resorts. now that our youngest is in his mid-teens, we love the epcot resort area. our older son split his honeymoon between bwv and gf because our dil always wanted to stay at the gf. they loved both. the gf is a very nice resort and right on the monorail with some great restaurants there. the bwi is right in the middle of the action with a ton of great restaurants right there. the bc atmosphere is a little bit quieter than the bwi and has an awesome pool. it's just a short walk around the lake to the bw and its restaurants too. both bwi and bc are within walking distance to both epcot and mgm; it's faster to walk than take the launch. sorry i can't help you narrow it down any more, all 3 are wonderful resorts.

The Grand Floridian, hands down.

1) Incomparable style, service, atmosphere. You will feel so pampered, you'll never want to stay anywhere again!

2) Location, location, location. Roll out of bed, and 10 minutes later, you're walking down Main Street, chomping on a giant cinnamon roll and getting ready to dash to Splash :p . You can't beat that.

3) The fireworks at night, right outside your door. The water pageant at night, right outside your door. The white sandy beach, right outside your door.

4) The best character meals in The World at 1900 Park Faire: both breakfast and dinner are sublime and fun and mighty good eatin'.

5) You never know when you'll bump into a mouse or two, cooling their heels for a nearby wedding. They have TONS of weddings at the GF.

6) Wanna take a break? Flop into an overstuffed sofa in the lobby, put your feet up, and people watch. At dinner time, listen to the Big Band combo playing upstairs. Snoop around the shops and dream of what you WISH you could afford to buy :smooth:

7) Order an amazing room service breakfast. You'll die. You will ABSOLUTELY DIE :Pinkbounc . Fancy schmancy table cloths, white glove service, and incredbile food. You may not want to leave your room. Ever.

That's for starters...

Wherever you go, enjoy!

Those are my personal opinions just because it is so easy to walk to EPCOT. Especially at night, it is so convenient to walk to dinner at the World Showcase. Its also so easy to walk around the water and go to the Swan & Dolphin or the Yacht & Beach.

Do you have children? How many? What are their ages? What park do you spend most of your time at?

:D

I also prefer the Epcot area. I haven't tried the BWI, but the BC is great. The pool area is great and an easy walk to Epcot and great boat ride to MGM.

I would choose the GF. There's nothing like being on the monorail loop, especially if you have children.

If you have kids---The GF, on the monorail!

If not, probably BC but either in the Epcot area.

Well, is there any way you'd consider splitting your stay between 2 resorts? That way, you'd get to experience both the MK AND Epcot resort areas .. best of both worlds! And you've got my VERY favorite on your list .. the Grand .. and for the Epcot area, another favorite - the BWI.
