I am trying to decide on the place to go for a table service meal in or around the Magic Kindgom. We don't want a character dinner, so here are our options. Out of this list of 1 table service credits, which would you recommend for dinner and what is your favorite thing to eat there?

Tony's Town Square
The Plaza
Concourse Steakhouse
Maya Grill (we are staying at CS so this is an option too)
Grand Floridian Cafe
'Ohana

Kona Cafe is also an option, but we are eating there for breakfast one morning, so wanted to try something different. :hippie:

Of the restaurants you list, we have only been to Ohana and love it. This trip will be out 3rd consecutive visit to that restaurant. We love the food! And we love the POLY! We always get there early to enjoy the scenery.
One day we'll stay there - I hope! :goodvibes

I second Ohana. There is something for everyone to eat and you can eat as much or as little as you like.

Don't disagree with Ohana, but would also suggest Kona at the Poly.

If you want all you can eat - Ohana

If you want a menu - Grand Floridian Cafe - the menu looks really good and I haven't read many bad reviews for this place.

I liked all the TS you have listed. We have had good meals at <almost> all of them.

I am dying to try Tony's. I love the atmosphere, and I've read that if you avoid the spaghetti and meatballs, everything else on their menu is great.

I am planning on trying it our next trip.

I'd go w/ O'hana. We love the food and atmosphere there.

i'd go with 'Ohana also, we go there every trip, good food and great atmosphere and you can watch the MK fireworks from your table if you time it right.

Not an 'ohana fan. We were there with friends in September and had one of the (if not THE) worst meal. The shrimp were mealy, the steak grisly, let's not even talk about the sausage:scared:

The service was bad. Very lackluster. We won't be back there:sad2:

Kona is yummy. Nice food, had great service and we LOVE the mahi mahi. One of the few places that has turned into a must do for us.

The nice thing about Disney is that there is something for everyone. For everyone who dislikes something, there is someone else that loves it.

Have fun choosing!:cool1:

We were there in December with a group of 13 and everyone loved it. Our kiddos (2 & 6) loved the limbo, coconut races and maracas.

On the opposite end, BIG THUMBS DOWN for Tony's. We ate there on the same trip and have TERRIBLE service and bad food. Wouldn't go there again.

Not an Ohana fan either -- menu too limited for us. We would second Kona Cafe at the Poly, followed by Concourse Steakhouse. Both are good choices for a TS1.
