Which November week would you choose?

I'm reserved for Nov 8th-15, which is the same week in November that we went last year. The crowds, overall, were a breeze. But I've heard good things about the week before Thanksgiving, too. We are planning on a Sat to Sat. Which would you choose? And *if* we get lucky and get free dining, which would be more likely? I figured with the latter, we would "run in to" the Thanksgiving travelers, so it would a bad choice.

Should I keep the reservations as they are? :confused3

We have gone both weeks. Both have great weather. Crowds are a bit higher the earlier week, due to Veterans Day, but nothing to really stress about. Probably only 5 extra minutes in wait times at most attractions. There will be more holiday decorations up the later week all around the parks and resorts, but WDW will feel pretty "Christmas-y" either week (MVMCP and Osborne Lights will be going on already).

DH and I went last November 18-22 and got free dining, but it wasn't offered the earlier week because of the Veterans Day holiday and Jersey Week. You will need to wait and see when Free Dining is offered this year.

EasyWDW's crowd calendar indicates that the week right before Thanksgiving is the best week in November for low crowds and great weather. Crowd levels are either 2 or 3 for that whole week.

We'll be there the 8th - 15th as well. Week before thanksgiving would be lower crowds, but we opted for the week we did because my daughter has mon and tues off from school and I didn't want to pull her out for a full week if I could help it.

We went last year 16-20 2 days at MK were not busy at all the longest we waited for a ride was 25 minutes

Is a picture from around 4 pm as you can see plenty of moving room

We were there from the 17-23 last year (the Sun thru Sat before Thanksgiving) and it was amazing. The only time we waited longer than 10 minutes for anything was when DD insisted on riding Space Mtn at 6:30 the night of Mickey's Christmas party. (admittedly we were able to still use FP- at that time along with FP+ so we had lots of FPs) The Wednesday that we were at MK was so great - can't imagine it being any less crowded than it was that day. And there were Christmas decorations everywhere.

We had family who went Nov 2-11 or so and they complained a lot about the crowds when they were there. I forget if there was a marathon or something? But they apparently didn't have the same great experience we did.

If we wanted to go again before Christmas, it would be either the week before THanksgiving or the first week of Dec.
