October, November or early December?!

We are also going to stay at Disney for a week after the cruise. I've been in October and loved that time of year, great weather and had a lot of fun at MNSSHP. But I'm worried about rough sea's since it is considered hurricane season.

December would be nice with the Christmas decorations, I just don't know how great the weather is that time of year. I like lots of warm sun!! :sunny:

What do you all think?!

I was on the Magic 11/29/03-12/06/03 and the Christmas decorations were fabulous! We had good weather too. I think you would like any of those months. Are you talking the Magic or the Wonder...I think the Magic ports of call will be warmer in December.:sunny:

Since pricing is generally the same for these months (except Thanksgiving), I would opt for a cruise around mid December....It's just a great time to cruise...

We are going to do the 4 night cruise on the Wonder.

What are your experiences cruising during hurricane season? I'm so afraid of the boat rocking too much and getting us all sick!

I've done the 4 night on the Wonder in May and had a great time. Felt no motion at all! I had an unusual feeling walking on land in Nassau (sea legs, is that what it's called?) but that went away after about an hour.

We did the 4 night Wonder in early Oct, no problems with rough seas and the parks weren't crowded. It was a great time to go!!

Any day, week, or month can have calm seas or rough seas. But, in general the seas are calmer during the summer and hurricane season, as long as you don’t sail into a storm. In the winter there are fewer storms, but the seas are generally higher. The biggest waves we’ve had on a Disney cruise were 8-12 feet, “big waves”, and it seems that it takes 8 foot waves to start any noticeable movement of the ship. The waves can, (and have) gotten bigger than that in the Caribbean, but its rare, and impossible to plan for.

Just go, don't worry about the weather, and have a "Wonderful" cruise.

January, Febuary, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December.

We did another cruise many years back in December (out of Miami, to Bahamas and private island) and never saw temps above 70. The ocean was very rough and we were both seasick.. we couldn't walk down the hallways without stumbling. Needless to say, DH never wanted to cruise again. But he thinks maybe we will take our DS on a Disney cruise someday. I'm still hoping!

WE just did a January cruise and loved the weather. Not to hot not to cold.
