Which month is most comfy for tenters?

I've been going around and around about what type of camping I want to do for the next few years...do I want to buy a truck camper now, or save my money for a better rig later and go with tents for a while? Anyway, that's a question for another day...

My question is this...which months would be the most comfortable for a camper in a tent? I will not be using any sort of A/C (maybe a small fan), and won't have a heater, either. I'm most comfortable in nighttime temps around 45-55 degrees, and daytime in the 60's to about 80. Which months have you encountered these conditions most often, and are these temps associated with any wild weather?

October, November they tend to be dryer and cooling down. I went in March this last time and tent camped it was great but with this ever changing weather March is usaly a rainy month and it wasn't for us. I thought the temperature was great.

I like the thought of Oct/Nov. It's usually slowing down at work so I can easily get away those months. Thanks!

I've also had the weather you describe in early December, but have also had lows in the 30s in early December.

No matter when you camp, at least bring a fan and run it during the day to keep the humidity down and airflow going through your tent.

Just got back. We tented for 8 nights 4/8-4/16. The coldest night was 59. Most nights were mid 60's. The warmest day was 90. Most days were low to mid 80's (low humidity). It rained 1 time (BIG time- heard it was the 1st rain in 40 days in Orlando), otherwise the weather was wonderful for tenting.
So nice, I'm hoping to go again around the same time of year next trip!
