:goodvibes I voted CSR for many reasons. We love the theme of the resort, the grounds are beautiful, bus service is great, Pepper Market has a lot of variety and good food, mousekeeping and staff are very good...This is are very favorite resort in the moderates...

POR cuz it's my favorite. Love the theming. FQ was too small for me. CB is too old and doesn't appeal to me. I want to try CSR, but we eat at the food court often and I'm not paying 10% more for nothing.

We almost went deluxe this time, but we LOVE the quiet pools.

I voted for CBR because we loved the theme, the food court and that there are pools at each of the "villages". Our room was quiet and very clean. The food court had great food and was always stocked and clean. We enjoyed our walk to Old Port Royal every morning (it's not as spread out as most threads make it seem). The resort grounds are clean and beautiful! The transportation to and from the parks was awesome, we never had to wait long for a bus to come. This was our first time staying at a Disney Resort and we will go back again! Hope this helps!

I didn't vote because I couldn't decide between CBR and POR. :scratchin I've stayed at both and really loved them both. They each have a different feel to them though.

If I were you I'd do research on each of the moderates and then decide. I have pictures and comments from my stays at CBR and POR on my web site, the link is below :) I'd definitely recommend either of those :thumbsup2

I like the pool and newness of CSR.
I also like the larger rooms, double sinks and atmosphere of CBR.
Sorry I am not much of a help.
Have fun where ever you stay.

I voted for POFQ because it's so small. Everything is just a short walk away and the food court is not very busy. I really wanted to stay there again during our next vacation but it was all booked up :sad1:.

I love POFQ, its small so everything is close to where you want to be. It does share bus systems with POR, but you are dropped off and picked up first to and from the parks. (PO has 4 bus stops, the same number as CSR.) But best of all, it has it's own bus stop at MK in the evening. It has also won numerous awards for its landscaping. The boat to DTD is a great option, PO is the only moderate to have this.

Exactly what I was going to say... It's smaller than the others, so it's quieter and less busy than anywhere else. We really enjoy that because after spending all day/evening at the parks, it's nice to come back to a relatively peaceful and quiet place to unwind. We wanted to stay there for our trip at Thanksgiving, but they didn't have any availability.

For me, it would depend on the trip. I really want to try CSR, but since we're going in January, the boat to DTD for evening trips to DisneyQuest tipped the scales in favor of POFQ. Of all the mods, the theming of POR/POFQ is the most appealing to me. I love the landscaping at POR, especially on the mansions side. And since the evening weather could be chilly, the shorter walk to the room at POFQ is a nice perk.

If we were going during a warmer month, CSR would easily be our top-choice mod because the pool looks so fabulous!

I voted for POR, and have stayed at all mods except CSR (which doesn't really appeal to me since my other vacations have been in Mexico).

I love POR for its theming (it is the exact opposite from where I live), the ambience, that feeling I get when I step out of the Steamboat Company, and I am transported to another world. There's no hustle and bustle; rather, it is relaxing and charming.

I love POR because along with POFQ, it offers boat service to DTD.

I love POR because of Piano Man Bob.

I love POR for the five quiet pools, hot tub, horse drawn carriage rides, the fishing hole, bikes, marina, landscaping and early morning/late night walks.

My DS(6) loves POR for trundle beds (he feels like he's campig out), Ol'Man Island, cane pole fishing, and the River Adventure Cruise.

And, while I normally stay in the AB section, sometimes will stay in the mansion section and it will feel like a whole different vacation!

We love POFQ but want to try POR just to see what it is like. We love the size of POFQ, the food court, pool, rooms, and grounds. The walk to POR for the boats and sit down restaurant is a nice quiet walk. Leave in 35 days...can't wait!:cool1:

I picked POFQ because of the beauty and size. All of the other resorts are pretty big. POFQ us very small and discreet. I like that.

We visited POR and the resort was so big that even the CM got lost showing us around. That scared me to the point where I won't be staying there. My very close 2nd choice would be Coronado. I love that place!!

POR because we love the theme. PORFQ is too small and without a sit down option in the main building. CSR is beautiful, however when we checked it out we didn't get the same feeling (We ran into a lot of conventioners in the lobby). CSR and CBR both can be looong walks back to your room as well to the main pool. At least at POR if you have a long walk it isn't as bad because the walks in AB are shaded.
