Which moderate should we choose?

We are planning a week at WDW in July. We need two rooms for our family of 6. We are thinking of POR. It looks like a very pretty resort. We have already stayed at CSR so we would like to try something else. It seems like CBR is very popular. We stayed there when it first opened, so I don't remember very much about it. I have looked at all the pics of both resorts on Deb Wills site and the offical Disney site. Are there more pics of these resorts anywhere? Could anyone give pros and cons of these resorts? Thanks, any info will be appreciated!

I know that you asked about moderates but I am giving you another suggestion about your family of 6. Why not look into the Fort Wilderness Cabins ? They sleep 6 and you get a full kitchen too. It would cost less than getting 2 rooms at a moderate. Just a suggestion for you to ponder

Thanks for the suggestion! I also suggested it to my
DH earlier this evening. He won't even consider it! (Some people are so closed minded--even those you love!) He had a really bad experience once on the bus on the way to HDDR!!

MEN Just kidding. Actually I must admit that I wasn't very happy about the first time my dad booked a home there. I guess I was a campground snob too But after that first stay I was hooked. I am not staying there next time because it is my honeymoon and I want to live it up. But I can assure you that the trip after that will be back in Fort Wilderness.

To be truthful the way I decide is to call CRO and see which moderate resort has the best prices for the times you are going. You can find discount codes on this site (and some other sites).

I am planning a weekend trip in May and wanted to stay at CBR but the rates were $40 a night more. So, we are trying out CSR and will try a different moderate next time. For me I just can't justify paying too much for a room since I live only 40 miles away! But, I just love staying on-site.

So, if you don't have your heart set on one certain resort, arm yourself with a list of the codes for your dates, call CRO, and see which one will be the cheapest.
