Which Moderate for a 14 Night Stay?

We were planning on staying at the Polynesian this April but have decided to stay at a moderate and extend our stay to 14 nights instead. We have stayed at CBR for 13 nights last April/May and loved it. We felt like the size of the resort was not a problem because we always had someplace new on the grounds to check out. We also stayed at POR this past July and I don't think I could stay there for a full 2 weeks. I liked the resort but not enough to visit again so soon.

We have not stayed at CS or POFQ yet. Of the 2, which do you think would be a better option for a lengthy stay?

I'd split a stay that long between two resorts. It's kinda like two vacations in one.

CSR is very nice. Never stayed in the FQ side of PO. My choices would be CSR and POR.

Hi married2grumpy...you're going to get fans of both resorts so I'll start with CSR!! Check out my website below for pics nad info. Have you considered a week at each? CSR has great transportation, an awesome main pool area but is a very large resort. I've never stayed at POFQ but I hear it is a small resort so it will come down to personal taste. Good luck deciding!

I've stayed at POFQ. It is very nice, however it does not have some of the amenties of some of the bigger moderates that you might want on a 2 week vacation. In particular, I'm thinking that you might want some days just to chill at the resort and other than the pool there isn't a lot to do.

We just got back last week and split our stay between almo and wl. It was great because when you checked into the 2nd hotel it was like starting your vacation all over again. We checked in very early but were able to get our room right away(like 8 am which is rare I am sure). I would split the stay.

another vote here for maybe splitting your stay....it's like two vacations in one! POFQ is a very compact resort and you're never really very far from anything which is nice...the boat to DTD is also kinda cool....CSR is larger and has a few more amenities to choose from...IMHO, CSR has the best pool of any of the moderates...

I am leaning towards CSR because it is larger and the pool looks great (as does POFQ pool). We difinitely want to spend some time at the pool. I don't know if I would like switching resorts during a stay. I had thought maybe we could switch buildings at CSR if we feel "bored" of our location. I like spending a lot of time at the resort and really getting to know your surroundings. Our first visit to CBR I wasn't impressed initially. After getting to know the resort so well, I fell in love with it.

I'd love to hear other opinions. Has anyone thought switching resorts was a hassle and not worth it? Especially from one moderate to another. Thanks!

Another vote to split. For 14 days, personally I would split between all 4!

No...It's not a hassle at all especially if you're staying for 2 weeks. This will not put a dent on your precious time. Just let the front desk know that you want your bags sent to the other resort. Go to the park and then go check in at your new resort around 4pm. Your bags should be there by then.

Now if you're only staying for a week, then moving from resort to another might be a hassle cause you are loosing time packing and unpacking...cheking in/ out..in/out.

I say...Split your stay between CSR and POFQ!! Enjoy!!
