We are considering upgrading to a MOD for our trip in Sept (booked at POP now).

I'm interested in hearing which MOD you would (have) book(ed) if you have kids preschool aged (our DD's will be 5 and 3 on this trip), and WHY you liked that resort.

We generally stay at POP (the girls have always loved it there), but we're wondering if we want to just try something different for this trip.

Thanks in advance for you insight.

POFQ has a neat sea serpent slide. Plus you can take a boat over to DTD. There are also fun Mardi Gras alligators and other statues on the property to take a photo with.

My son also reminded me of Coronado Springs because of the Dig Site. He loved to dig in the sand and he found lots of good places to dig at CS.

for little kids we always liked pofq - it has a cool pool - and it's small enough to walk around - now that we have three kids we have to go to riverside - and that's nice - as it has a bigger food court - which is nice - but we really like fq -

We opted for CBR on this upcoming trip because of the playgrounds, fun music, hammocks, bright colors and sandy beaches. I know DS2 will love it.

We have stayed at all the mods:

CSR: nice resort...VERY nice resort, but I fall into the camp who feels that all of the conventioners take away something from the Disney experience. If it were DH and I it would be fine, but IMHO it lacks that Disney family vacation feel

POR: Very pretty grounds, boat to DTD is great, nice new food court and the piano guy is great fun. The playground stinks though and it is a lot of walking from certain areas.

POFQ: Just a little too small for me.

Our preschooler & Kindergartner (boys) LOVE CSR!!!!! Love the pool, they actually love the walk and the bridge over the lake and looking at all the different flowers, love the game room, love the Pepper Market, love counting the four bus stops (resort does not share, busses have not been a problem in our two Jersey Week stays)...

In short, despite the "lack of a Disney feel," the kiddos know they are "at Disney." We spend all day @ the parks and just relish the quiet walking back after a long day of noise and stimulation. We just love CSR:-)

GL with your choice!:cool1:

Another vote for POFQ. The pool is great and the resort is compact so there is not a lot of walking.

CSR!! Best pool/slide, transportations and great food choices. Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

We took our 4yr old and 3 yr old to Disney World last May 2007 and stayed at the CBR. We absoutely loved it. It was nice and relaxing for the kids with the beach feeling. Everyone was so super nice. I loved being at the parks all day and then coming back to a laid back, relaxing resort. The kids loved everything about the resort. We are going next month, April 08 and are staying at the CSR. DH really wanted to try a new resort so I went along with it. Hopefully CSR will be a great experience like we had at CBR. I think you will like the CBR a lot. We sure did. Enjoy :goodvibes
