Which MK Resort

I need to make a reservation for one night for tow weeks from now. I will be going to the MK both the night of my stay and the morning I check out. While I must watch my pennies I would like to have no-hassle transportation to MK. Which resort would you use?

If I were in your shoes, I would go for the Polynesian. Since you are only there for a few days, I think this resort can quickly put you in the "vacation mood". While it's not the cheapest of the MK resorts, you have the best transportation options with the Monorail right at your front door, the TTC (Ferry Boat, MK monorail) within Walking Distance, as well as the shuttle boat from the Polynesian. This would be my number 1 choice in your situation.

If that's too much money for you to dish out, the Contemporary would be my second choice since you have the shuttle boat, monorail, and walking path all available to you. It's also cheaper than the Polynesian.

Thirdly, if that's still too much money, there is always Wilderness Lodge which can be a real bargain. Transporation here, however, can be rough, from what I've heard. You have the options of shuttle boat or bus, but neither are CONSISTANTLY reliable... you have about a 50% chance of getting lucky, from what I can gather.

Thanks my 2 Cents!! Hope you have a great trip!!

Regarding WL, I have not experienced any problems with the transportation. I wasn't aware of a bus going to the MK, at least not directly. The boat is a great option, holds plenty of people and is a *ride* all by itself. I like the special feeling going on your own boat to MK and getting off at your own dock! Always turns heads!

But then again, I'm a WL fan through and through! I would definitely also consider staying at the Poly, with CR being third. Don't care much for the GF.

I would choose the Contemporary for the ease of transportation to the MK. You can take the monorail, boat or walk (the walk is between 5 to 10 minutes). There are also some good restaurants at the Contemporary such as Chef Mickey's, Concourse Steakhouse or California Grille if you want to stay close to your resort for meals. I don't know if you will be travelling with kids but there is a huge arcade and there are 2 pools.

Thanks to all for the input. It will just be my sister and myself. I am there on business and she has decided to escape with me. We are statying at the Swan for three days (courtesy of my company), and have decided to extend our stay by one night so I can play a bit after work is done. Originally my parents were going to be camping at the same time and I was going to stay with them, but their plans changed last week, so I am scrambling to pick a place at the last moment. So hard to balance cost vs luxery/convienience.
