We did breakfast and loved it. I'm thinking of doing dinner for DS's 10th birthday but wondering if it's as good.

We've done both. We definitely prefer breakfast. Dinner was okay but, with the exception of Biergarten, we are not big dinner buffet fans.

Well- i've never eaten there but from I what i hear- dinner is OK. not amazing, but not horrible.
I'm sure eveyrone can find something they like there since it's a buffet- and I do hear good things about the mashed potatoes.
Plus there's an ice cream bar which most every kid likes. Even if your cihld doesnt like ice cream, teh toppings are fun! :-)

I'd think for a bday dinner that'd be a fun place to go.
If you loved breakfast tehn I'm sure you'll love dinner too.

I voted breakfast. We had dinner there on Friday night and I have to say the only thing that tasted good was the dessert and the fruit. All the carved meats (even the rare roast beef) were dry and leathery. The sauced items were repulsive (the meats were greasy and fatty.) The ravioli were cute but the tomato sauce had a funky over spiced taste. The only thing we found palatable as a "Meal" item was the mashed potatoes. Overall the food was just yucky and I'm pretty tolerant of bad food as I'm a horrible cook.

Plus our waiter just plain sucked as he was rude and rushed. He took my son's plate when he still had a piece of pizza in his hand and left him with no where to put it down!

The character interaction was "okay" as far as that goes. Mickey and Minnie only spent about 10 seconds with my kids but did spend longer at the tables where the kids were toddlers. The other characters were better and gave my kids a little more attention.

We did dinner once and the food was terrible.

Did breakfast in March and we loved it

I voted for Breakfast. We loved the breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I will say that we are more of a "breakfast buffet" type and rarely do many sit-down dinners (we do the buffet breakfasts and then counter-service dinners). Also, the menu just doesn't appeal to me.
