i know i can get a bus from DTD but i was just wondering which mall people think is the best

i have a daughter who is in love with hollister and pandora bracelets

my son is mad on sports and wants new trainers especially converse

and me and hubby just want anything really lol

any advice travel and shopping wise much appreciated :):)

I would say Florida mall but that is because it is my favourite :D
Mall at Millennia has more designer higher price shops still great to visit though :D

Closest would be Premier Outlets, which is just up the I-4 from Downtown Disney.

For choice of shops (including a good food court and large department stores) then the Florida Mall is a good choice.
I'm a non-driver in Florida and last trip booked a Towncar transfer to and from the Florida Mall. Bit more expensive than a cab but you know who is driving you and when they are going to pick you up, especially on the return journey when you will have lots of shopping bags! Think it cost about $80-90 round trip plus tip.

Florida Mall is the easiest one to get to. Catch the 111 Lynx bus from Downtown Disney, which goes straight there.

Here are the prices, taken from the Lynx website:

Standard One-Way Fare - $2.00
Standard Single-Day Pass - $4.50
Standard 7-Day Pass - $16.00
Standard 30-Day Pass - $50.00

They're all pretty easy to get to using Lynx, but the Florida Mall is the easiest on the 111.

Premium Outlets (Vineland Ave) is easy too. Take the 50 from DTD to Sea World, cross over the road then transfer to the 8.

Premium Outlets I-Drive (Prime Outlets) is simple also. Take the 50 from DTD to Sea World, transfer to the 8 (same side of the street).

If you want to go to the Mall at Milennia, take the 50 to Sea World, and then transfer to the 8. Get off somewhere around Wet 'n' Wild - a cab is about $10 from there. Alternatively, you can take the 8 all the way to Premium (Prime) outlets at the top of I-Drive, and catch the 24 from there (it's hourly, though).

$2 each way, transfers are free - just ask when you get on.

Last year we bought 7-day passes for $16 on the Lynx website (www.golynx.com) about a month before we left; they mailed them to us in the UK for free.

are you going with virgin??
last time we went to bought a trip to florida mall off the rep onsite.
Can't remember how much it was (know it was cheaper that a taxi on our own would have been) she aranged for a mears van (the bus was shared with others from different hotels so did take a while but we felt we had time to see the whole mall) to drop us at florida mall and then pick us up it worked well for us.

we are going with virgin so i might look into this a bit more thanks

i think we will probably go by bus but get a taxi back

will check the websites out and see which one is best :)

I love Prime Outlet and also Premium (which is now also called Prime) without a car I would go to Premium outlet by bus or taxi and then get the i drive to the other end of International Drive after shopping in Premium to go to Prime as well, as the i drive is really cheap.

Thanks Kath really useful info for our August trip - saved to my favourites. ONly bus we have taken is the 50 to Seaworld but as we'll be staying in OKW this time, it's good to know where to catch the bus from DTD to other destinations.

Anyone know the approx cost of a taxi to and from Prime outlet, starting point would be DtD.

Thanks.
