Which magic band will hold ADRs.

We have a room only reservation for ASMo for the night we arrive, then we move to POFQ. It shows we will get two sets of magic bands. Which will hold our ADRs. I am afraid having 2 different magic bands will mess up all our reservations.

There's nothing on a band except a single reference number. That number is used by the band reader to access your account on Disney servers. So any active band can access the information on your account and that's where your ADRs are. Wear any active band, both in your case will be active, and you'll be fine with no worries.

Both Magic Bands will access your My Disney Experience account. As long as your dining reservations are on your My Disney Experience account, and both room reservations are linked to your My Disney Experience account, both bands "will have access". Though unless something has changed, you don't need your magic band when you go check into an ADR. You only need if you are charging the meal back to your room (or have a dining plan).

Thanks so much! So we don't really even need two magic bands? Is there anywhere to just have them send one?

That makes sense! I don't know why I thought I needed the bands for dining reservations lol

You can opt out of the second after you confirm the first set. With reservations this close it may not let you though.

Now I will say test both sets on the doors. They all work pretty seamlessly for entry, charging, dinning plan, and fastpasses but I've been told the hotel has to manually turn on that magicband ID for door privileges. I got locked out one time when using multiple bands so now I always check the extras I bring when I firet get to the room while someone in my party is inside in case it doesn't work.

You can opt out of the second set, or never customize them. If you don't customize them, you'll get a note to pick up the bands when you check in to POFQ. If you check in at the front desk, they'll ask you if you want bands or not. You don't have to take them, and they won't show up in your account.

Thats a good idea! I might do that. Will they both work at the same time?
As long as the magic band is still active, you can use it. You have to deactivate it if you don't plan on using it again. That's on the magic band page.
