Hi everyone
I am looking at getting one of these for my 4 yo DS.....I was just wondering which one if either one are better than the other???? I know everyone really seems to like both, but I was wondering if anyone preferred one over the other....Thanks:thumbsup2

I have the Triumph,. My main reason for choosing was because the Triumph reclines, not all the way down, but enough that DD (3) could catch a quick nap some days while we were at WDW.

and I chose the Volo b/c it only weighs 8.6 pounds and I can carry it myself along with a diaper bag and child in a pinch and it pushes like a dream b/c it is so light. . .

our DD2 has napped quite comfortablly in her volo even without the recline feature. The volo actually has just a bit deeper seat than the other models that have the recline (I took my tape measure to the store! oh yes I did!)

Anywho, it is the one we will also use for DSalmost5years in a few weeks in Disney!

If I had a younger child or was planning on having any more children I might have a different opinion.

You'll find every opinion imaginable on these boards about Macs!

good luck and have a great trip! oh! the 07 volo now has rain cover included for first time. my 06 didn't have it.

I just went through making this decision a few weeks ago. I was told at Babies R Us that the only difference is that the Triumph reclines slightly. Having the reclined Triumph and the Volo side by side there was not that much difference. I wound up buying 2 Volos. My kids are 5 & 7. My 7 year old is physically disabled and we'll use the stroller for her after our trip. We've already used it the past few weeks and it's a dream to push!

With a 4 year old I would probably go with the Volo too. Our DD(now 8) used our Volo for 2 Disney trips and when she would fall asleep late at night she slept fine. Its lighter and cheaper than the Triumph.

I just bought 2 Volvo's today. My girls just turned 3 and the recline didnt matter to me. There was a mom there who had the Triumph and didnt like the way it collapsed and it was heavier. She returned it for the Volvo. So, I walked out with 2 Volvo's.

PS..we live in Florida and she said she bought it for Disney trips... and I was like, oh, Im getting these for our upcoming cruise and WDW trip:banana: .

Oh, for those who have two with 2 children, the plastic connectors work on the volvo. I just tried it out and I can steer both with one hand. I got them just in case DH or I want to do something different and one of us has both kids/strollers.

I was in your very shoes just a few short weeks ago - Volo or Triumph? How to choose? I ended up going for the Triumph for 2 reasons (not because of the recline - my DS has NEVER napped in the stroller).

1 - Triumph comes with rain shield - an accessory that you need to purchase seperately for the volo

2 - I found a Triumph at a great price. Here's a link to the very site I bought mine from: http://http://www.albeebaby.com/ma20trstingo.html

I have to say - I debated spending the cash on an umbrella stroller - but it was worth every penny! LOVE IT - steers like a dream, just like everyone says:thumbsup2

I am happy to announce that I am the proud owner of 2 candy pink and charcoal Triumph buggies!! :yay:

My husband and I aganozied for days over which model to buy...we test drove both the Triumph, Volo and Chicco at babies R us for over 3 hours and two separate trips to babies R us and found the Triumph to be our favorite. We needed to get 2 new buggies for our upcoming visit to WDW so I was really trying to like the cheaper Chicco or the Volo stroller. We also test drove the Baby Trend Sit and Stand with both daughters in it and did not like it at all. Difficult to handle, a pain to fold, and way to heavy to lug around on WDW busses. We found the steering and folding of the Triumph to be the easiest and you gotta love a carrying strap for WDW bus transit. Both DD's seemed to be the most comfortable in the Triumph and it just seemed that it handled better and was more sturdy than the Volo. We kept trying to find reasons to buy Volo's instead but kept finding our way back to the Triumph.

Someone mentioned in an earlier post that the Volo now comes with the rain shield. This was not the case at our babies R us, however the triumph did come with the rain shield. When we went back to babies R us tonight - there were two pink Triumphs that had been end cap display's that were not for sale yesterday, and we ended up getting them for only a few dollars more than if we had gone with the cheaper Volo.

We also purchased the stroller connectors that babies R us sells for nine bucks and they work perfect with the Triumph. Go on and off quickly and easily and make two very easy to handle by one person if needed. We thought this would come in handy in the event we want one person to run for fast passes etc.. Also thought we would use one of the connectors when we leave the strollers so that someone with a similar buggy does not take ours by mistake.. Which has happend to us at WDW in the past.

We took our daughters out for a maiden voyage in the new Triumphs around our block after Dinner tonight, and are absolutley certain we made the right choice. They seem to be the best strollers we have had so far. Worth every penny we paid and cannot wait to use them at WDW in two weeks.:thumbsup2

twinmom2 - which stroller connectors do you use? The ones by Prince Lionheart? They seem to be the only ones I can find and I need to make sure they work! Thanks.
