Which longhouse would you request?

I haven't stayed at the Poly since 2007 so I am super excited to be back for a short trip. My DH can't get away from work(maybe on the weekend) so I am mostly doing this trip with just the kids. I just feel the need to say I normally do not plan vacations that DH can't go on:rotfl2: but I just want to travel this summer and he is doing a few guy trips so we compromised and I got Disney:cool1:.

Anyway my older girls are 11 and 13 and I will let them and need them to go to Captain Cooks grab breakfast items etc. while I get the little ones ready. We have stayed in Samoa and Fiji. Samoa I think is out because I am afraid my 4 year old will wonder right off the patio and into the pool:worried:. I love the idea of Tokelou(please forgive spelling) because the rooms are bigger, and isn't it the building with double sinks? My tweens are insane with doing hair etc. and 2 sinks would be a huge help. But is it to far from Captain Cooks? Do you think Fiji is the best?

Also when we stayed Poly on previous trips it was the days of faxing your longhouse request, etc. I was just thinking about adding it to the ressie or asking when we check in.

Would appreciate any advice or help, Thank you!

Tokelau is great location, basically the most central IMHO. Easy to walk to GCH, main pool, quiet pool nearby and quick walk to TTC for EPCOT monorail. Garden iews were pretty.

Fiji is our favorite longhouse. We pretty much request 3rd Fl Marina View every time though we have stayed In others as well :)

Last year we stayed and Tokelau was wonderful. Central location, close to the quiet pool - great for a garden view. Never have been lucky enough to get a theme park view room but I've head that the rooms on the far end might give you a glimse of the castle. Have fun!!!

Another vote for Tokelau. Great central location for GCH, pools, beaches, TTC and bus stop. Also has the larger rooms which is a plus.:thumbsup2

ETA: After rereading your post, Tahiti would also be a good choice as it does have some rooms with double sinks and you would be on the garden view side away from the water. You could also request a room with a balcony instead of first floor to help keep the little ones from wandering off. If requesting Tokelau, ask for a room facing TTC to be opposite the quiet pool if that worries you.

They no longer accept fax requests. Just call CRO to add request to your ressie.

We stayed in Tokelau and it was a great location, We stayed on the side with the quiet pool, so yes if you may be worried about the pool you should request the other side away from the pool.

We love Samoa - though I understand your concerns about the patio. What about the 3rd floor balcony. A balcony facing the volcano pool has a fantastic view and is close to the GCH.
