I tried to look this up, but search is disabled right now. Which longhouse would be best for our family at the Poly? We will be getting two lagoon view rooms (helped me to convince DH). There will be 5 adults, including my mom, who isn't able to walk long distances at a time (ground floor needed). There will also be 4 kids, who love swimming. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the Poly in Nov of 2002 and loved Tokelau, it was great but was closer to the quiet pool, it wasn't too far of a walk to the Volcano pool or the Great Ceremonial House.
All of the floors in Tokelau also have baconies.

I found this website all about the poly very helpful... I hope this is right, www.tikiman2000.com? If not there should be a way to search for it .
He really knows the rooms inside and out and provides maps and room numbers as well.
Good Luck!

Could you do concierge? That would put you in Hawaii and close to everything. Tahiti has the best non concierge lagoon view rooms but it could be quite a walk for your mother. One good thing for Tahiti is that there is a parking lot very close to that building so you would not have to walk all the way back to the front of the resort and the pool is not that far if you walk the path along the beach but back to the GCH could be a long way for her.

Thanks for the information. The tikiman site is great. If the budget allows, Hawaii it is. If not, Tahiti here we come.
