Which Lobby has a weird smell...AKL or WL?

I remember that one of those lobbies smelled like insense was burning?

That was AKL. It is a weird, but kind of exotic smell.

I love that smell! I dream about when I will smell THAT SCENT again. Returning back to the AKL each day, I would inhale deeply everytime I would walk in. It is an exotic, wonderful, aroma that I think may have come from Boma and the spices they use in their cooking possibly. It was always strongest when you would walk past the restaurant on the second floor walkway.

AKL has a very pleasant, sort of spicy, smoky smell... but it's a good thing.

This smell is one of the reasons we are so desperate to go back to AKL.

Great Subject Leopardspot!

I thought I was the only one that looked forward too and appreciated the distinct & diverse smells of each WDW Resort Lobby!

I look forward upon arrival at the resorts to slowly walk through the doors and "soak in the atmosphere and smells" of each one!

In fact....My DW and DD's think I am a little bizarre when I stop and literally smell!

My favorite is the Polynesian...maybe because it was my first Disney Resort and my all time favorite!

Anyone else have a favorite Lobby Smell! lol
