Which limo co. do you use?

We used Tiffany Towncar for our last 2 trips the service was great. The roundtrip fee was $90 (for a towncar). We'll be using them again this year.

Another vote for Tiffany! We've used them for several years now and have always gotten good service - including our latest trip in January. We've had Renata a couple of times and we really like her. I will be booking Tiffany again for our April trip.

Does anyone know why QS was banned from the Dis? I have used them numerous times and been very happy with their service. Is there something I need to know about? I have them booked for May and I'd like to know now if I need to switch.

I had no idea Quick Silver was banned. They were wonderful when we used them in Dec.

I'd also like to know why.

We've used CartierTowncar for our trips and had great experiences with them. Friendly, prompt, less expensive and nice cars. Using them again for our transportation to and from Port Canaverl in Sept. Good luck!

I inquired about why QS was banned and i was told it was becaseu they came here to the dis and solicited buisness without PAYING to do so.
Ive herad nothing but good things about them i plan to use them for my trip.FWIW, both Deb Wills at allearsnet.com and the passporter offcially endorse them.

It is interesting to note that the PAID sponsor FLTours has recieved much negative comment of late.So i guess its ok if youre service stinks as long as you pay.

We've used Happy Limo and were very satisfied with them. Booked again for June/July dates. We ask for a straight drive to/from the resort and Sanford. We had a black stretch limo coming and a white one going. Totally surprised the family the first time and now it's just a very nice luxury.I was able to book within 10 minutes using their 1-800 number and the confirmation came next day via email. do a search on this board for them and you'll pick up many more details.

another vote for SUNRAY !! superior , professional, courteous service - they are impeccable ..we used them in February - first time, I have them booked for May and will rebook for October.....Roger was our driver - fantastic!

I just booked Sunray for our trip in June because of all the good recommendations on this board and others. Could someone who has used them please tell me what methods of payment they accept? The email said we should pay our first driver the total fee when he drops us off at Shades of Green. (We also have a transfer to Hard Rock Hotel and then the return to MCO from HRH.) Can we use a credit card? Or is it cash only? We usually don't carry too much cash, so we would want to know if we had to have enough on hand. Also, given that the service is good, how much would you all tip the driver? We're paying $82 for the roundtrip to MCO + $30 for the transfer to Universal midweek. Maybe $10 for each of the three legs, whether it is the same driver or not?? TIA for any input ~

I've used Sunray 4 times in the past and no, they don't take credit cards. Have always paid in cash. They may take traveler's checks - just send them a quick e-mail, they're real good about helping and answering questions!

With regards to tipping, I usually start at 20% of the total and divide it up between the # of transfers. Then I add on depending on the quality of service and the amount of and weight of the luggage they handled, etc.

Which reminds me, I still haven't booked my trip for June!! Guess I actually have to pick a hotel first though.

I'm pretty sure it's cash only...we give about 25% as the tip ..when my daughter and I go in May we are going from MCO to BWV to HRH to MCO ....so I'll probably do $30 as tip...if you really like the driver, just request him for the remainder of your trip....they will do their best to accommodate you. have a great trip!
