Don't know, but I can't wait to find out. I just got the first trilogy on DVD. Overall, it is an excellent box set, although I did not see why they put replaced the actor that played the older Aniken Skywalker with Hayden Christenson at the end of Return of the Jedi. I found this to be rather absurd.

This aside, I liked the set. What do you all think of it?

In many ways I can see your point. But on the other side I like the first two prequels, because they are different.

The new trilogy is the story of how a good person can turn to the dark side. The first trilogy is a story of hope and redemption in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds.

In this respect, the series as a whole is rather like the Lord of the Rings. It is also a series that stands on it's own merits as well.

I like Empire Strikes Back the most so far, don't know if 3 will change my mind, but I can't wait to see it.

It is only absurd because they didnt change Obi Wan to Ewan. That was dumb.

I voted for waiting till ROTS. I would have to say Empire is the best of the 5 so far.

I personally love the structure and overall design of episodes 4-6, but my favorite is episode 4.

Empire Strikes Back is the best so far. I can't wait to see ROTS this May. I have brainwashed my two sons (4 & 6) into fanatics, but I don't think be able to handle the content of the new one. We'll see.

I like Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, but since I haven't seen Episode III yet I'll have to withhold my ulimate judgement at this time.
