Trying to get it together at the last minute to take dd to WDW for Christmas. Because of funds, and that it's last minute with not many options, I only have three choices.

I want to stay at whichever resort will be the most beautiful and like Christmas:

Port Orleans Riverside
Coronado Springs
Carribbean Beach

Which should I choose?

I have stayed at all three of those resorts (okay, I have only stayed at French Quarter, but heck, it's still Port Orleans, hee hee). I love all three of those resorts. However, I have only seen the CBR at the holidays (last Christmas), and it had lovely decorations.

I wouldn't worry too much about which one is decorated the best, as all of them will be decorated beautifully and uniquely, and you might like a certain decorating "theme," while others might like another (I hope that makes sense). Base your resort decision upon which location you might prefer, or which resort amenities you might prefer. Once you've made your decision, check out the other two resorts during your vacation just to see if you made the right choice.

Have a wonderful vacation.

I have not stayed at any of the three but can tell you that wherever you go on Disney property over the holidays you will not be disappointed. They do Christmas even bigger than New York City. If you go to Deb's website and pull up the pictures of the resorts, most show something from Christmas. This will give you a small idea of what to expect. Wishing you a wonderful holiday experience whatever you choose.:D

We had our hearts set on the CBR for the second week of December..(closed for food court rehab)...if it were me....I would :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc at the chance to stay there....

New food court/restaurant....also....can't imagine how awesome it would be to sink my toes on a white sand beach at Christmas time:p :p

Have a great time WHEREVER

Just checked out the pics on Deb's site. I would get done looking at one resort's pics and be convinced that this particular resort was "the one". Then, I'd check out the next resort. That was now "the one". They all look so great. I was really taken with the furnishings in POR. I like all that fancy stuff. I stayed at CSR previously, and loved it. I thought I might like something different this time. I loved the look of CBR, but thought it had a really "big" feeling to it. I never felt that way about CSR, though. I also like the idea of being able to take the boat to DD. We will not have a car with us this trip.

POR rate is more than the others, though.

No matter where you stay, get on the monorail and stop at the 3 resorts on the loop, then take the ferry from MK to WL. They're all outstanding.

Stayed at POR back when it was still DXL -- the decorations there were quite lovely and it was a good resort. I haven't stayed at the other moderates, but I would think POR would have a more holiday feel to it.

For the holidays, I would have to say the PO-R lends itself to the Christmas theming better than the others. Also, you can visit PO-FQ, which also is quite beautiful! For the holidays, either of those would be my choice!

I stayed at Coronado Springs in Dec 1999 and I was NOT excited about it before I arrived. (It was the only one I could get the $89/nt rate for that weekend.) I was VERY surprised at how pretty it was for the holidays and not at all disappointed.

I have not seen any of them at Christmas but I would say they are all beautiful!
