Which is more "Magical" out of these options?

How would you rate these 3 options as most magical and why?

1. California Grill for supper and watching Wishes from the outdoor landing on that floor
or
2. Cinderella's Castle for supper and step outside just in time for Wishes
or
3. Birthday Cruise departing from WL and having bday cake while watching Wishes witht he music piped in

We haven't done 1 or 3 but number 2 is nice. I am a sucker for the fireworks over the castle though. By far my fave of the fireworks shows.

personally, i'd go for the boat cruise. sounds beautiful! i personally don't like the cinderella's castle dinner but i've never been to the California Grill so i can't really comment on that. There's just something about a boat cruise with birthday cake and watching Wishes that says "magic" to me!

Okay, I haven't done the castle for dinner, but the last time I ate there for lunch, the food was very mediocre.

We did an Illuminations Cruise our last trip, and we really liked it in many ways, but it was cold that night, so we were a little uncomfortable. It wasn't a great place to eat...although if you just want a bottle of wine or something, that is nice.

The very best special thing we did was our dinner at California Grill. The food was excellent, the service was great and watching Wishes from the deck was fabulous. If I were to choose from your three choices, I would pick California Grill.

The Wishes Cruise!!! We did an Illuminations cruise and really felt like a VIP!!! No crowds, very special and unique!

You can't go wrong with any of them! As you can tell by the varying responses - it's going to just be a personal preference! Have fun!!!

I'd say #3. They all seem really good but I would LOVE to celebrate my birthday while watching wishes from a boat and eating cake all at the same time.

I'd do the cruise, it seems more special to share the moment just with your travel companions than with everyone in the park. That way you would avoid all of those things talked about on the 'Pet Peeves' thread!

is the evening for you, dh, kids or just you/dh? if it is the four of you, DEFINITELY go for the cruise! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! it was amazing! we were so mesmerized, we were totally awestruck and silent! it was great! i highly recommend it!

We've never done the other 2, but I vote for the Castle and step out for Wishes. We saw Wishes from a boat and it was beautiful, but not the same as seeing them right in front of the Castle. As someone else posted, the only part of being on the boat was that it was more personal for us as a group to enjoy it. We did the Magical Voyage for the grand gathering.

thanks for all your input! Yes it's all 4 of us going! I was wondering if the kids would really like the cruise or not...would we see the water parade and what other things would we see on the cruise?
