Our school system has a short school week leading up to both the MLK weekend, and President's Day weekend, and I'm just wondering which would be better in terms of crowds at WDW. (Already looking at next year, and I have a trip planned in April!) Also, is there much difference in the weather?
Thanks for any responses!

Hi LauraR

I have been to Disney during the week after MLK and it was wonderful......we arrived the day after MLK Day and we had a wonderful 8 night stay......crowds were minimal and it was one of the most enjoyable trips ever.

I would stay away from President's week. Most everyone has off on President's Monday and I do know that at least in NY the kids have a witer break that whole week.......I would imagine some other scholls do too and this would cause me to think it would definitely be more crowded at this time.

As for the weather, I think they would be pretty comparable. When we went in '99, it was 70's most days and very cool at night.

Whatever you decide......ENJOY!!

I have gone twice during Persident's week, and never will again. My dad has a time share in Kissemme, and I went in 1992 and 1997. I hate standing in long lines, which is what you will be doing if you go then.

Just my two cents. Have a great time, no matter when you go! :D
