Have never done DLP in Dec before so need some advice!
Which would be less crowded....the w/c 19th Dec or the week inbetween xmas and new year? How bad is it generally that time of year? The only comparison I have is June which was quite quiet in the week and mad at weekend!
Thanks
Debsx;)

We went 23rd - 28th December a few years ago. It was fairly quiet (actually it was deserted on the afternoon/evening of 24th) until 26th then got busier and busier each day until 28th, the day we left. Based on our experience I would say the week commencing 19th will be quieter than the one between Christmas and New Year but try and avoid the weekend if you can.

We are there 19-22/12/11 and we are expecting it to be silly. If it is any quieter then that is a bonus.

I probably didn't use the best word when I said 'quieter' but I meant that I think it will be the lesser of the two evils.

Steve - you're going with the right attitude :thumbsup2 and it's so magical at Christmas that IMO it's worth it. :santa:

Hoping it may be a little quieter as some UK schools will have only just broken up from school my little one doesnt finish for xmas hols until the 16th December so we are going to disney from 19th - 21st December 2 nights 3 days hoping it may be quiet-er lol

We are going 18th to 21st and I'm expecting it to be heaving :lmao:

Can anyone compare it to summer in terms of crowds? I last went in July before schools broke up in England but during French hols, it was really busy but not unbearable...

Thanks :lovestruc

Well sounds like we need a DISers meetup! I'll be there 19-22nd as well!
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm sure we'll all get togther in retaurants at the same times to avoid the crowds!

Does anyone have any idea of opening times yet? do you think park will be open till 9/10pm?

What time is parade normally over xmas season???? Just wondering if my 4yo will stay awake.....

PS Hi Debs! :laughing:
