We are trying to decide if we should switch from the end of Jan. to some time in Feb. our problem is due to my DD disabilities we perfer LOW crowds. SO which month is usually the least crowded? When are the cheerleading or dance competitions going on????
Any help is appreciated :)

I haven't been to WDW in January or February, but I would suspect that February is more crowded. A lot of Northern schools get a week off in February for mid-Winter break. Many people also go the week of President's Day. In January, most people don't take time off (especially those with kids) since they just had a break at the holidays.

I think you'll find several NJ/Eastcoast Disers go to WDW in February during Presidents week.

We go almost every January for our anniversary (January 3) and the only time we ran into crowds was once when New Year's Eve fell on a Monday. It felt like the Christmas-NYE crowds stayed on for that whole week too. Usually the first week of January is really nice crowd-wise.

We are going Jan. 28 thru Feb. 3 and the crowd blog has most of those days listed as 4's which is the lowest it goes now. I called Disney Dining last Sun. afternoon and booked 10 people for cinderellas Royal table at 12:25 for lunch. We also got all of our other reservations without any problems. We have never been in Jan. but go in Sept. for the low crowds and picked this time for hopefully even lower crowds.

Anytime after New Years up to the weekend before President's Day should be good crowd wise. We've to Orlando several times during that time frame and never experienced high crowds.

Early January (but not the week that January 1st falls in), is pretty empty. Yes, there are things like the WDW marathon that attracts some extra guests, but it really doesn't impact the crowd level that much. This low attendece period runs up to about the 2nd week in February. Once you get to President's Day week - forget it.

Right now we are booked for Jan. 28th- Feb.3rd. But we were wondering if we should move it to the first week of Feb. after that :confused3
AAA TA can not get us a Lagoon view CL for the week we have planned now so that is why we were looking to switch weeks but I am concerned about Feb. crowds
