Which is easier to get discount...ASMo or POP?

Now that Pop has opened is it easier to get a discount at ASMo or at Pop? Just curious if it has changed anything.

Any codes that come out should be the same at both resorts.

My husband has been "living" at WDW hotels each weekend since August. He has a FAR better chance of a discount at the Pop than the ASMovies. In fact, Every value except the movies is usualy available at a discount. I think he did get the discount 2 times at Movies, that's it. A castmemeber told me that ASMovies was the most popular/most stayed at hotel in all WDW.

Got back from an Oct/Nov trip and stayed at 4days at Movies and 8days at Music. Could not stay at one resort because Movies was not available at the AP discount rate.
Going again in Feb and will stay at POP because no All Star Resort was available at the AP discount rate.
IMO rate/room availability is totally arbitrary on Disney's part and they want to fill specific rooms for specific dates.
