I think the WL, right? If we wanted to go to one or the other for a bite to eat w/ the counter service meals on our dining plan, which would be more practical?
How should we get there (boat, bus, car)?
About how long is the trip?
Sure wish we could use the CS meals at the Fort!
Thanks!

If you are staying at FW WL is a little closer. Both are very easy to get to using the smaller boat that runs between WL, FW, and CR.

If you have a car, that it is the easiest way to get to Wilderness Lodge.

Personally, I think taking the boat is the easiest way from FTW to both the WL and the Contemporary. That is, unless you are located far from the marina and don't have bikes or a cart.

The boat takes about 10 minutes and is a nice ride. By the time you drive to WL, cruise the lot for a space, then walk to the lodge, it will probably take you longer to drive than to take the boat.

While the boat ride is only about 10 minutes, it can be the door to dock, waiting for boat and dock to lodge time that can add a lot of time. All that extra time can add up to making the whole trip to WL 1/2 hour or longer.

Getting in your car at your site and driving over is most often the fastest way to get to WL.

There are boats to both WL and Contemporary.
Also you can take the Settlement Orange bus. After this bus arrives at the settlement it goes directly to WL.
