I have been using Money for years but I feel like I may be missing something as most of the people I know use Quicken.

Any advice?

bumping this up...I'm interested too!! :)

We've used both. We first used Quicken, then started using Money since it came with the software for our new computer. Seriously, I don't see much of a difference, but then again, we just use it as a electronic checkbook register.

I don't know if one is better than the other, but I've used Quicken for about 7 or 8 years now and I still like it. :flower:

used both; prefer Microsoft Money. Although everytime we update it's a big hassle-make sure you do regular backups, and backup before you update.

If you want to download data from your bank or credit union, Quicken may be your only answer. Last year, when I worked in banking technology, we were getting ready to upgrade our core system, which would only allow our customers to use Quicken. We caught a lot of grief over it, but it was something we had no control over.

I have used Quicken for years, along with Turbo Tax. I'm used to the interface. As said, do backups; I do every time I use it, in fact, just did, paid my early January bills this AM.

I had Quicken on my old computer and wasn't able to transfer the program to this computer so I have money. I don't like money at all, but oh, well, it was free.
