I have never used Dollar, but I get Alamo quite a bit through Priceline and they have been fine. The only downsides I've ever found is that their line can be long and they can be pushy on the insurance. But I can deal with both those things if the price is right! The cars are good, and we have even gotten upgrades when they are out of cars in our class.

We have used Alamo, Bugget, Hertz and Dollar in Florida. I like Dollar ~ they are at MCO (no buses). Saying that ~ I didn't mind Hertz, which is off-site, so we had to take a bus. But the Hertz bus was fast and easy. Alamo bus stop was packed! Alamo seems to be the cheapest, but you get want you pay for.

I like Dollar - If you sign up for their (free) Fastlane Membership they will give you a coupon for a free upgrade. They store all your info into their system and the pick-up/drop-off is a piece of cake.
We've used Alamo in the past (before they were at the airport) and the shuttles and wait time were unbearable! If you choose them just don't use the off-airport location.
All the major companies seem to be good - Go with whatever has the best rates and has an airport location. Who wants to deal with a shuttle when you can just drive away
There is no longer any offsite location for Alamo, so you would never have to worry about that anymore.
