Which is best - Swan or Dolphin and why?

I think we'll be at one of these for a couple of days in July. Which one do you like and why. Also, we'll have 5 people. Does that limit us to the Swan? Will that mean a rollaway or do they have daybeds? Thanks!

Actually it limits you to the Dolphin. They do have rollaways for I think $25 per night.
We love the Swan and Dolphin. :cloud9:
Reasons:
1. Location! Location! Location!
2. Heavenly beds
3. The fabulous Grotto Pool,
Check out the link below for pictures of these great resorts!

We've stayed at the Dolphin twice and the Swan once. Although both are great hotels, we definitely prefer the Dolphin. The entrance & lobby are more impressive, the hotel layout is less confusing, Picabu's is right there, and even with a rollaway bed in the room we still had plenty of space to move around. Enjoy whichever hotel you choose!

We will either be staying at the Dolphin or NOR in October. With my nurse discount at Dolphin, the prices are about the same. I'm hoping more people will post here before I commit!

We loved the Dolphin! But, DH says we'll get a rollaway next time. The beds are a little small. Anyway, you'll love the LOCATION, and the awesome pools, plus the heavenly beds are great! We thought the buses were fast and the boats to Epcot were too. Loved the Boardwalk and lying in a hammock on the beach. We will visit again!

Awsome! The more I research, I'm leaning Dolphin, although if I get a %40 code in the mail that would weigh heavily for POR.

I'm almost positive we stayed at the Dophin for one night before and I know the two hotels are very similar but I wanted to know what the small differences were. I'm excited to see I was wrong in that the limit of 5 people is at the Dolphin! I guess that shows I'm leaning toward the Dolphin! Since we will have 5 people the first night, I guess that is where I have to be since no one mentioned the daybeds. Am I right in saying that most of the restaurants are at the Dolphin? I know the podcast team had a definite favorite (I think the Dolphin) but does anyone know which show it was on? Has anyone slept on the rollaway there? I wish it were as heavenly as the bed but I'm doubting it! Last question, location - location - location - where do I request! I am a Starwood member! We had an awesome view of the Boardwalk last year which I see if the most expensive choice. That was total luck with a last minute spur of the moment reservation and clerk who was on his last day before a promotion! I doubt I'll get so lucky again!

How much is the nurses' discount and what do you need to show to get it?

Thanks

I assume it is a copy of your pay stub or letter from your employer on comany letterhead like it is a teacher. Can I fax this beforehand or do I have to take it with me?
