Which Hotel

Going to Disney for first time,in May can someone tell me which one in the list below is a good hotel.
As we probably will not be in it much we are looking for a nice clean and well located hotel.
We have two children and are not going to have a car.
Quality Inn Plazza, Quality Inn International, Sheraton World Resort and
Comfort Inn Universal Studios Area.
These are the ones available.

Hi - Sorry I can't offer any help on any of these hotels .... Just wondered if you had thought of one of Disneys All Star Hotels, as you are not getting a car, the Disney transportation would be useful to you. We spent two nights at All Star Music this year and can couch for the cleanliness. The children would most probably enjoy the theming of these resorts ....

You will have a great time, whatever decision you make

I have stayed in both the Quality Inn's but many years ago - they were average and to be honest nothing special, like you say possibly suitable if you are out and about most of the time.

Sheraton World is now called International Plaza Resort and Spa, personally that would be the one I would choose.

You can't beat a Disney hotel if you don't have transport. We stayed at the old Dixie Landings without a car and was great.

I would stay 'on site' if you have no car! Far more practical!
Out of the hotels you've listed.. I agree with Johnny. Its at the quiet end of I drive and you can walk to Sea World from it!

If you dont have a car check which hotels offer transportation to the parks. I do recommend staying on site though.

I'm sure the one we stayed at was the Q Inn International. This was back in 2001, as it was our first trip we found it okay, and convenient although we did have a car and that did help.

Since then we've stayed onsite at the All Stars which I would recommend, as others have said, especially without a car and even if you are planning on visiting US etc., it would still be easier. It would also probably not work out that much more expensive.

Hiya,
We have stayed in the QIP last june and found it to be fine. Clean and all you will need for your stay. Excellent bar for a few drinkies! and a great little supermarket that is equipped enough for breakfast etc. Close by to lots of restaurants and also a walgreens across the road. The I-ride trolley is very convenient.
Seaworld is only a short distance away.
It had some transport to some parks but not sure which. Sorry
I would realy recommend staying onsite if your budget can stretch as without a car, its difficult to get around. On-site you may experience transport delays etc, but convenience wise I think it may be a better option,

We stayed at the QIP recently and really liked it. We didn't use the car we had and did not have a problem. There is a free shuttle to Universal, Wet and Wild and I think, Sea World which goes three times in the morning and picks up in the evening - you book it at the ticket desk in the hotel. The Disney shuttle is $14 per person return and again this goes three times in the morning and picks up at various times in the evening (we got to see all the fireworks). The I Trolley also picks up outside the hotel and goes down past Sea World to the outlet for $1 per adult (kids under 12 free).

We did not want to drive and had no problems staying here - it's quiet and the only noise we had was from the I4 which didn't bother us. We would definitely stay there next time we go.

We have stayed at the QIP 7 times and never had a problem with it, it has everything you need especially as you say your not in the room long only to shower and sleep. it is in a better area of i drive than the QI international.
