Which hotel is better to stay at?

We are planning our Nov/Dec trip to Disneyland. We went in April and we were pleased with our stay at the Hilton Anaheim. This time, we are considering staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim - Orange County, on City Drive. We can get a great deal there because my sister-in-law works for Hilton. So, it is between the Hilton Anaheim and the Hilton further down on City Drive. Any suggestions? Has anyone stayed at the one further away? My only concern is that their shuttle only leaves once an hour, and the fact that we would be quite far away from that "Disneyland feeling."
