Hi we have previous booked art of animation for 6 days and sapphire falls for 8 days but now looking at either of the above to save some money.

We are also a family of 5 so need the extra room are we silly staying off site or would you advise it. We are going for two weeks at the end of May beginning of June

I also like the option to eat out etc at night and try some different places

Thank you

There are a lot of unknown variables at play. For example, if you are looking for one unit total for all 5 people, and/or if you plan on driving each day.

I did a search based on one unit, and for all of the below, I randomly plugged in a 2 week stay, starting May 23, 2025. None of the below include tax.

- A 2 bedroom unit (2 king beds and a sofa bed) at Tuscany Village is $348+ per night. Add $10 per person per day to take the shuttle to/from WDW.

- A junior suite (2 double beds and a sofa bed) at Lake Buena Vista is $241 per night. Shuttle included.

- A standard room at AoA (1 king bed or 2 queen beds) is $394 per night. Family suites are about double that.

- While not on your list, Caribbean Beach has standard rooms (2 queen beds and child pull-down bed) for $335 per night. Benefit of skyliner.

- While not on list, a family suite at All-Star Music (1 normal queen bed and 2 pull-down queen beds) is $442/nights.

- If you’re under a different handle on T-advisor, albeit with the same question, it seems Margaritaville resort is out, so I didn’t look into that.

- I didn’t factor in any potential parking costs.

- Other potential questions to ask self: how many days at WDW versus staying at hotel or going elsewhere for the day? Young kids that might need afternoon rests in the room / naps on park days? Doing one of the off-resort properties, particularly if using their very limited hours shuttle service, is not very conducive to that. Plan on spending a lot of time in the room or is that just a place to crash at night? How quiet does everyone need to be if it’s one room with 5 people of varying ages, who might be going to bed at different times? The food variable is too vague to really do any further analysis on, other than to say that WDW hotels have shuttles to Disney Springs, so tons of dining options.

If it was me… double beds at lake buena vista doesn’t sound appealing. … I personally don’t mind not having multiple bedrooms… but I do really like the idea of good shuttle service…I would do the normal room at Caribbean Beach. My second choice would be the family suite at AS Music. But, if double beds didn’t bother somebody, and if that person didn’t want a flexible shuttle schedule, Lake Buena Vista wins in my book. If some sort of in-unit privacy is desired above most other variables, then maybe Tuscany wins.
