If you had to choose which holiday time would you go to the fort??
1 week Thanksgiving
2 weeks X-mas
1 week Easter
Summer Time
With my DD starting 7th grade it's getting harder for her to miss school so which time would you rather go??? We've only been in late Oct, early May(my favorite), and early Dec.
If we went for thanksgiving and easter we wouldn't take the MH and would have to stay in a cabin because of the long drive (we live in WI). We could probably stay for 1 month in the summer.
We've never been at busy times but we would likely just stay at the fort during the day and head to the parks for the late nights.
Soooo...... Which would you pick??? and Why??? I've seen the X-mas photo's with the crowds :crowded: and I have to say that that would be too much  for me but maybe late nights would work??
Thanks for the Help!!

I'm gonna try to post a poll we will see:headache:

I voted 2 wks in December, but I guess I missed the part where you said you could stay 1 month in the summer.

I vote for that. I'd stay whenever you can stay the longest. :)

I voted xmas.
Really, really, don't care for the crowds !
Love the decorations !

I would vote when I could stay the most. Thanksgiving has great weather. Christmastime is always special and two weeks is a nice amount of time. I have never gone for Easter. Summer is hot but then you can utilize the all of the water parks.
It's all good:goodvibes

I voted Christmas. It is the most magical time of year. I would try to be in the parks on the days furthest from Christmas day and do secondary attractions and relaxing at the fort around that inordinately crowded day.

I'm going to say Christmas since your kid is older! :thumbsup2 We've been serveral times over the Easter/Spring Break holiday and its CROWDED then too.

Christmas - no doubt - only holiday I've ever been unless you count Easter and summer break. WAIT I have been other ytimes - but Christmas at any rate.

Thanksgiving,,, still see the decorations, better weather usually, less crowds then xmass.

Shameless bump so those who were gone for the Holiday weekend can vote:)

I voted for Christmans! There so much to enjoy, I understand that it would be crowded but wow to be there for Christmas and New Years, I think I could enjoy that!

I would do the month in the summer. But we always do Thanksgiving.
