I have already settled for the following venues in an upcoming trip for dinner:

  1. Wolfgang Puck - The Dining Room
  2. Flying Fish
  3. California Grill
  4. Citricos
  5. Raglan Road

I need recommendations for one more restaurant which MUST BE outside the parks. If you could eat anywhere, where would you eat?

All recommendations considered!!!:flower3:

Are you dining with children? Victoria & Alberts is the best, by a long stretch, dining at WDW. However, they do not allow children under 10.

I will be dining solo. I thought of V&A, but I don't think I can justify it on an expense account.... :rolleyes1

But if nothing else pops up.... maybe I will and pay part of it myself.

Citricos is excellent. Great service and wonderful food.:lovestruc

Raglan Road is wonderful but I wouldn't necessarily call it high end. More like a fabulous pub.

Also Yachtman Steakhouse is very good

Yes, do that. I've done it on business trips before. Totally worth the upcharge. Otherwise, I'd go with TDC Nala's choices.

I would totally agree with Artist Point or Jiko. Both were favorites for us on our recent trip, great food and great service at both.

We think Jiko is the best of the signature restaurants

If I were to add one more to the list, I would add Jiko in a heartbeat!

Yachtsman, Artist Point, Jiko, California Grill , and Narcoosees are all great restaurants!

Had a return to Narcoossee's on Jan 2nd, more wonderful than I recall. Both times I've been there in time for Wishes. This time we spent some time at the bar waiting for our table (we arrived early). Bartenders were great as was the service and meal.

I must again mention V&A. NOWHERE else can compare. This is by far the most fantastic restaurant in all of WDW and truly, my favorite anywhere. I finally ate at Charlie Trotter's in Chicago (supposed to be one of the finest in all the U.S)....well, I liked V&A better. So if you are in search of a truly wonderful dining event, do it. Find a way.

The top votes were:

  • 9 votes for Jiko
  • 4 for Narcoosee
  • 3 each for V&A, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, and Artist Point

I think I will go with Jiko. However, it was tempting to try Narcoosee (which I have never been to) and see Wishes. But I can see Wishes from California Grill too - and I have been several times to California Grill. Hmmmmm..... :confused3

Okay.... I think I will take one more run through my list and see if I want to replace a tried&true favorite with one I have never tried??

What a great problem to have!

New favorite, Todd's English Blue Zoo!
Expensive, I have to save for it but it's worth every penny. They really go outside the box with flavor and originality, in a good way!
