Which guidebook for WDW with kids?

I loved WDW for kids 2007 and Passporter. With those 2 and the DIS I had no problems planning for everything and we had a great trip!

I just reserved my copy of the Universal Guide at the local Library (it's checked out til March though:headache:) I also reserved several other guide books too~ (they were all checked out too:headache: but I'm first in line to get em' anyway) I can't wait!

I like Walt Disney World with Kids by Kim Wright Wiley. It's updated every year and also includes some information for Sea World and Universal. I like that she gives advice about which restaurants are more kid friendly (I've found her recommendations pretty accurate) and her scare factor for rides are also really good. I've gotten a lot of good general tips from her books, too.

I liked this one when our kids were little, and bought it for my sister. I think that, along with a Passporter, is a great combination for someone travelling with kids.

Birnbaums for Kids is wonderful currently for my eight year old - who is becoming a little DIS planner. She can go through it and list everything she wants to do and read the descriptions. Two years ago, she wasn't even vaguely interested in the book - too much text.

If I were going to write a Disney guide book, it would be a picture book for the pre-school set to page through, look at pictures and very short text - 2-5 year old appropriate - for Mommy and Daddy to read.
