Which grocery delivery for beer?

We use a towncar service, quicksilver. They offer a free grocery store stop before taking you to your resort. We have used it several times for fresh fruit, cold beer and salads.

We prefer a towncar service over ME or driving ourselves. Cheaper than a rental car and much quicker than ME.

We did a car service with a grocery store stop through Tony Hinds for our last trip. We got everything we needed, including alcohol, distilled water for a CPAP machine, and fresh fruit that I could pick out myself.

Amazon prime now substituted a terrible tasting beef for our last delivery (twice!) and the refrigerated items had no ice packs during our last delivery in October. The delivery was more than 2 hours after the end of the the delivery window. The driver could not speak English so we couldn’t communicate so there was no way to meet her.

We always use Garden Grocer. We also always order a styrofoam cooler from them to add ice from the hotel ice machine. That way it frees up the hotel refrigerator for other items. Nothing better than an ice cold beer after a hot day at the park! :drinking1

Genius! Wish I would have read this before placing my order.

I do the same thing and just leave the cooler at the resort when I'm done. It works out nicely.
Same here. We try to find someone to actually leave it to with our unopened beer, water bottles and energy drinks. Might as well pay it forward when you can. :earsboy:

We want a small grocery delivery but need some beer as well. Which delivery services deliver beer ? I would like one with a narrow delivery window so I don't have to wait at the resort too long. Any good or bad experiences?
Garden Grocer. They are great to work with and you do not have to be there. Bell Services will hold for you.

Have the rules changed? I didn't think there was a limit on alcohol that's under 24% alcohol.
I just "Googled" it and it appears you are correct. I was given the info by American Airlines and I'm in PA, so it could be a misinformed employee or PA's weird liquor laws. I think I'll check again before I fly down next month. There are some FL beers I'd like to bring home.

Maybe it's an AA rule. Yes PA does have some strange laws. I remember going to a store trying to buy beer once when we were staying at a hotel near Hershey. We were very confused when they told us we had to go to the restaurant next door to buy a 6 pack. I think it was a Pizza Hut.

We have always used GG but am considering Amazon Prime Now. However, when I place items that we need in the cart, some of the items are Amazon and some are in Whole Foods Market. How does that work? Are there two separate delivery charges, and items will arrive separately?

Or, we might just buy what we need from the Poly gift shop. Does anyone know if they sell 12 pk or case of Michelob Ultra and a 12 pk or case of water and the cost of each?

Just placed my Garden Grocer order about 10 minutes ago. As others have said, you do not have to be there for the delivery. GG will leave it with Bell Services. However, when placing the order you will have to fax GG a copy of your driver's license. They are great to work with. Have a great trip.
